LOCATION|| ||The hotel building is a skyscraper landmark, towering high above other structures in the neighborhood. It is opposite the main road from a maternity hospital and has the usual décor and design expected for a five star hotel. Just look at the 5 flagpoles and the fountain outside. || ||LOBBY|| ||Marble floors, high ceiling and grandiose lobby atrium are markers of comfort, leisure and business. There is also an onsite spa and restaurant. As we had a tight schedule, we did not have time to explore the facilities or neighboring surroundings.|| ||SERVICE|| ||Good service on check-in and check-out. We booked on b**king.com and were luckily upgraded when we booked 2 rooms. The lady who assisted us was Ms. Jane Shan. || ||ROOMS|| ||The city view from the higher floors was magnificent. The bed was large and super-comfy with soft, smooth linen and even a PILLOW MENU! The potplant provided a touch of nature.|| ||The bathroom was spacious, large, clean and comfortable with all the usual amenities provided. There was also a weighing scale, hand for travellers with weight limits or body limits. Privacy of bathroom can be maintained with a blind curtain. || ||The bathrobes were thick and first-class and the elevators were quick and plenty. The hotel rooms and hotel interior was okay. We had a great city view. Our room was well cleaned everyday. Breakfast buffet was great. Also, they have a great lunch buffet that serves grilled meat and seafood. On the 4th floor Chinese restaurant, they had this awesome deep fried milk that was amazing! |Their concierge did try to help with routes and other things we were asking for. One lady name Linda in particular was very helpful. |Be aware that they charge 20 rmb per hour if you need to use internet in lobby. And service charge of 20 rmb for each train ticket we needed them to purchase on your behalf. They don’t sell wine by glass. Only by bottle in the restaurant. They had multiple employees at the front door and none of them helped us with our luggage in the pouring rain. They wouldn’t even call a cab for us. We had to walk down the street to call a cab. Location it not convenient if your going to use the subway.|Don’t understand why there’s so many employees standing in front of the hotel if there not going to service...
