Clifford Hotel — Hotel in Guangzhou City

We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel. It was comfortable and clean. Within the hotel/resort are restaurants and massage centre which we went to. The massage at the massage centre was good and we were able to walk in without booking for our group of 4. I did not get to use the heated pool tho I thought it was lovely to have one during winter. There is a shuttle service outside the hotel to bring us to the Bus terminal. The vicinity was under construction for a new estate which made the area rather messy and the shops, eateries and supermarket in the vicinity was closed to make way for the construction. Otherwise it would have been very much more convenient to hang out as I was here several years back. The airport express which used to stop at the hotel doorstep now stops across the 2 way heavy traffic road. All these changes were inevitable due to the ongoing construction. I hope that after the works are over, things around the area will be like it used to be. The service level of the staff at the hotel was quite average. We managed to get some directions and call for taxi although some of the staff did not look all smiles, they manage to do it for us. One drawback was the hotel does not provide any city or area map. We were told that we can purchase any sort of maps from the hotel...

Clifford suites is basically pretty new n strategically located mid way between airport n the city .. not too near tho but away from the hustle n bustle of the ever populous Guangzhou city.|Next to the hotel at walking distance of 10 minutes are shopping outlets for clothes etc.. there are many restaurants serving all sorts of delicious famous Guangzhou food.. ||This place boast two outdoor escalators so convenient n friendly to the seniors too! A huge playground with lighted trees outside the hotel is a sight to behold.||Service is good n staff are friendly especially the Lobby Lounge. Wifi services is also excellent! Security to n down the many floors are up to date too!||For my next trip to Guangzhou will have to check in this place again n there's a shuttle bus to the...
