CYTS Shanshui Trends Hotel Huangpu — Hotel in Guangzhou City

we stayed in the hotel during Oct and Nov 2015.||Advantages:||- location (Huangpu Rd and a local Metro line 5 just 7 min by walk)||- amazing Leisure Center - decent prices, perfect services - "must try" for everybody||Disadvantages:||- poor English of all hotel personnel incl. reception staff||- state of rooms equal to 2 Stars - leakages of plumbing system (stains on carpet), weak not properly fixed power sockets, room phone out of order - request to replace/repare it was rejected by management||- despity of cosiness of Cawali Bar - very long waiting time||- breakfast in Western Restaurant - food in Chinese style, hard to find anything delicious for non-chinese guests||- constant lack of table utensils (forks,spoons,knives) in Western Restaurant - very weird due to minimum of foreigners and preferred use of sticks by locals||- absense of free Hotel Gym (Felix Gym included in Hotel facilities but by charge - 599 rmb/month)||- very weak WiFi signal(nearly losing)||- absolutely blocked mobile network||- absense of adequate tourist info in English,...

Stayed in a japanese theme room. ||Hate- Cracks on wall, sticky raised platform, TV not working, refrigerator not working, no safe in my room, less than perfect breakfast||Like- The staffs at reception||||I was there as I had businesses to attend at Cosco Shipyard.||||1st thing after I got into the room was to wash the platform and called room service to look into the TV.||A big group of students were staying in hotel for some prep course, so naturally, internet speed was slowed to a snail. During breakfast, the staff cannot cope with the huge influx of students that tables were left dirty and they were unable to replenish even the disposable cups.||||I do noticed that many people arrived and stayed for a night. So it must be in the right location. Nearest MTR station is around 15minutes walk or 5minutes ride on a bike (rmb5). ||||Being in Huangpu, it is far from city but if you have businesses in the area, this is a reasonable choice...
