Sheraton Guangzhou Panyu — Hotel in Guangzhou City

To celebrate my graduation, I've decided to have some fun at Changlong amusement park. Although we're still in a global pandemic, I really need a runaway from all the burden in my life. Just I was wondering where should I stay, I found out a rather new hotel in this area. Sheraton Guangzhou Panyu just turned one this month, so why not? ||||After being offered an upgrade to executive suite, I was amazed by how huge and gorgeous the room is. With living room and dining room greets you from left to right, excellent decor and furniture, it's the best suite I've ever stayed.||||Special thanks to Bishop, there's a furnishing going on in the building and I'm a little bit sensitive to noise. He offered me a pair of earplugs to block the noise out, it really helped. Thankful that maintaining only goes on in daytime, no need to worry about it would affect your sleep.||||I took a visit to the club lounge during happy hour, the view and food are so good that I wish it would open 24/7. After some food and wine I have some work to finish, they have a computor room with printer on demand, met my urgent needs. All the ladies at club lounge are very professional and forward to help. I wanna thank Rhoda for chichat with me, answering my question and helping me fixed small issues in my suite. Thanks for her assistant, it really made my day.||||Wow, what an amazing stay. I just love every about this hotel, room was amazing, restaurant too. Brand new facilities and top tear services, just keep surprising me and raising the bar for hotels in my heart. What a pity I only booked two nights here, can't wait for next...

The welcoming lobby and attentive team at Sheraton Panyu set the scene. Quietly spoken, attentive and quick to ensure my access my suite was refreshing following my travels. ||The Premier Twin Suite was simply stunning. The luxurious room was large, clean and beautifully furnished. After i set myself to sample some alluringly places fruits and some tea, I had the choice of admiring the broad sweeping cityscape views - or sit at the reading lounge to check up the detail of the room. ||(We did both with videos sent back home with the details)||The bathroom was large, tasteful and glamourous, but extremely functional with a zones for a separate quartz enclosed large shower room, separate bathroom, and full bath. The main vanity also included a makeup table area great for our trip. ||A quick walk brings you within the energy of local restaurants - but we didnt access these as we enjoyed our hotel breakfast and travelled by car. ||The selection at breakfast is the expected high standards that you would expect from Sheraton - with a wonderful twist of delicious and delicate local Canton cuisine. Really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I was staying here for 10 days on a business trip ( my colleague had been here for over a month) I left my room for a few hours for it to be cleaned and returned to find my laptop screen broken.

The hotel management team were extremely hostile and accusatory- especially to my colleague who had been staying there for over a month- and spoke to her in a demeaning and disrespectful tone.

They have denied any responsibility and have offered us the bare minimum as compensation by the way of a free room upgrade for one night and 15% off food- my lap top cost £800 to fix.

This is keeping in mind our company has given this hotel nearly 100k worth of business in the past year.

I DO NOT recommend this hotel for any business traveler’s as your belongings are not safe or covered by the hotel- nor will their customer service suffice in any form.

After being spoken to in such a disrespectful and rude manner as well as being laughed at in the face by staff this is DEFINITELY the last time I shall be staying here.

What a shame it is to the staff members that were polite and helpful that their management team does not show the same respect or hospitality to their guests- I really do hope that the Sheraton group is made aware of...
