Steigenberger Guangzhou — Hotel in Guangzhou City

We stayed at the Steigenberger Guangzhou for one night only due to the hotel we booked for our stay in Huadu District was fully booked as we decided last minute to stay an extra night. The hotel room were smaller than the previous one in which we stayed. But overall the staff were very nice and courteous, check in time is usually at 3pm. We arrive at the hotel around 12:30pm, think of storing our luggages in the hotel until check in. We didn't need to wait until then, the staff checked us in straight away, saying the rooms were ready. It was so nice of them. Had a lovely night at the hotel, apart from our balcony view was looking into the main entrance of the hotel courtyard. We were hoping for the back view like our previous hotel, which was beautifully lit up at night. Had a lovely surprise when we first checked into our room. Loved the welcome greeting that greeted us. Sorry that we didn't take much photos, can't upload much about the hotel. Would definitely recommend to friends and family if visiting Huadu District...

The hotel was amazing from the moment we arrived. Special shout out to Anny Chen for making our check in incredibly pleasant. If there is one area the hotel doesn't fall short, it would be their staff and professional service.However, where the hotel can improve will be: (1) Water pressure because there is nothing more satisfying than coming back from a long day to an amazing shower. It is not horrible, but definitely not great. (2) The air-conditioning seems to have been limited to 24 degrees. No matter how low we set the temperature or how high we increase the fan speed, the temperature could not go below 24 degrees. Most people fall asleep at around 21 degrees so I hope this could be improved. (3) Finally, the walls are not sound proof enough. This makes having a quiet evening rather...

We stayed here twice. First time is last Xmas. There is no more regular room. So we booked the executive suite, 1000sft with two bathroom a huge bedroom and living room. A hug walk in closet. It’s only hk$1400 included two breakfast. I think it’s a good deal for Xmas and the room quality. Second time in may we able to book a twin bed room Still great. Very spacious. This is a good quality hotel the room with all the stuff u need. And clean and nice. The staff are super helpful and friendly.
