Tokai — Hotel in Guangzhou City

I'm here for a business trip with my family, we had booked two rooms with hotel agent for 10++ days before arrival thru phone call. Upon arrival, they told us they have two rooms for us, one is located at 9th floor and the other is at 14th floor, which means our family members have to be separated and they did not even inform us before our arrival. Thus we asked for room changing, and they gave us an unwelcome and impolite face expression and told us it's impossible. ||However, the cleaners here are very friendly and helpful. For businessmen, don't worry about your money, cleaners here are definitely serve you better than the manager and staff downstairs. ||Location is very convenient, there are many good restaurants nearby with various choices - western, Chinese, Turkish etc. It's quite near to the business centre that I went to, it's...

Location as mentioned by fellow travelers is very convenient as its near metro station and market, for me its also near good Indian Restaurants..||||My Friend from USA booked this property as it was near to Indian Restaurant and we did not regret it.. stayed on a Business Trip..||||The Hotel provides free shuttle bus service to Convention Center which is very Good..||||Breakfast is also very fair and has variety for vegetarians as they have many options.. Rooms are small and so is the breakfast area..||||They have very few staff who understand English as its China so ask for someone who you can talk to otherwise you can mess up..||||Lobby area is not very well kept and so is the reception.. but over all a nice Hotel you want to enjoy a evening walk to market and eat Indian Food..||||Will stay again if on business will not recommend...

THIS HOTEL HAS NICE DESIGN FOR LOBBY with cute fishes AND CLEAN ROOMS . i was there for about two weeks. and i got a very bad cold ,i just wanted they bring some drug from the drug store (that it was really near to the hotel but i couldn't speak chines ) they told me we cant and the receptionists laugh to me i dont know why maybe i said a joke :/ but they bring me some water with Ginger and they made it up for me ;) .it has a very polite door man that knows very well English maybe better than the receptionist totally i have to say that i was a tourist there and may be they have to try to be more kind with foreign guests .i studied hotel management and its not a rule of hospitality all around the world. thank you Tokai hotel i hope...
