Guiyang Lihao Airport Hotel — Hotel in Guiyang

During two separate trips to Guiyang, I've had the opportunity to stay at the Airport Hotel three times, between October 2013 and September 2014. The hotel is clean, within walking distance of the airport, and serves great food.||||The beds cannot be described as comfortable, but if you're travel-weary, you'll sleep well enough. The WiFi works, as long as you're sitting in the lobby. The hotel store offers a few convenient treats and trinkets, but isn't well-stocked. And the hotel allows smoking, which means you're almost certain to endure some second-hand smoke.||||All in all, this is a clean and passable place to stay if you need the airport convenience.||||If you can arrange a cab deeper into the city of Guiyang, and can float the money for a more upscale...

The hotel is conveniently located right across the road in front of the airport, and it’s cheap. And that’s about it when talking about positives. I have never experienced that I was unable to sleep due to disgust in any hotel before. Here it happened. There is such strong smell of sewage water in the rooms that it’s literally sickening. I complained and was placed into an other room which was marginally better, but just marginally.
