If you have stayed at a resort at Sanya before, you might be a little disappointed as this place is a less luxurious resort and a little outdated, too. And, to be fair, it is also a lot cheaper.||We were perfectly happy with our stay, though. This is mainly due to the location. The buildings are surrounded by forest, there are little trails that lead you through it along a little creek (if you don’t want to use the golf buggies that drive you to the different houses). We loved being in the middle of nature! What is more, there were several hot spring basins spread out over the property, and some pools – especially the infinity pool with two levels was beautifully set into the surroundings! There is a bar by the pool where you can get soft drinks. Too bad they don’t offer tea or coffee there!||Another plus is that the hotel is quite close to Qixian 7 fairy mountain, which is quite a climb but very worth visiting even if you don’t want to go to the top, as they have nice wooden trails in the rain forest that show some dramatic scenery. There is a shuttle to the mountain from the hotel.||The first room we were offered had quite a moldy smell, but the second one was fine. It rains a lot in the mountains, so it’s only natural that you have to deal with a little humidity in the rooms. They have a machine that dries the air in the room, so that can help. The room was quite small, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean, functional and in good shape. There is a shielded bath tub on the balcony that provides you with hot water from the hot springs. ||Breakfast and dinner is in a crowded restaurant – we didn’t like the atmosphere there very much as they are cooking and grilling in there and you will notice the smell of it in your clothes when you leave. You can have hot water to steam some food on your table, they will grill meat sticks and fish for you and there is quite a large choice of mostly Asian food. Unfortunately, it’s cold most of the time, as they leave the pots open. We didn’t try the Ethnic barbecue outside – that might be nice. If you care to leave the resort, there is a simple nice Chinese place quite close to it. The seating area is hidden behind the house and you sit in the middle of palm tree trunks around you. ||Overall an enjoyable stay that we would not have wanted to...
Read moreFamily trip with parents.||The hotel looked old. The services was slow, check in takes us around 20mins.||The outdoor public hot spring is WARM. The private ones look not worthy to go.||Only hot spring we use was the one in our room.||||They let us in a little bit earlier than the check in time, but the cleaner is still cleaning the room. We drove to the restaurant near by to have lunch, we came back and call the number the reception gave us for a golf car back to our room (it was about to rain and my parents have difficulty to walk too far) After 10mins it didn't show up, so we walked back to the reception, and no one can explain why they didn't get the order and what's happening. And for 2 days they have road constructions in front of our rooms and we have to walk to our rooms instead of taking the golf car service.||||The morning we checked out, I wanted to take some pictures in the swimming pool before breakfast, the pool was closed because they are cleaning it (during open hours), They said they will be ready by the time I finished breakfast. When the time I got there they still cleaning, the cleaning lady keep yelling me not to go to the area they haven't cleaned. ||||My mom and brother was exciting about the yoga lesson in the morning, they rushed the breakfast and got to the venue on time. No one was there. No tutor, No staff. ||They waited for 15mins. Nothing happened.||||Just not a place for us to enjoy our holiday. Not delivering what...
