Che'fle Canal Hotel Hangzhou — Hotel in Hangzhou City

I stayed at this property for approximately a month and was truely impressed and surprised with the design, history and character of the property as this hotel (unlike many purpose built properties) has a historical story to share with you.||The interior design is excellent and the standard and quality of the finishes was well maintained clean and very functional.||The cafe for breakfast was excellent with the selection of food and the quality of fresh produce fantastic.||The staff are young, enthusiastic and retained that small country inn atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable welcomed and endearing throughout your stay.||The surrounding suburb is excellent with a food Street just 300 metres from the doorstep, many boutique restaurants and cafes all dotted along the neighbouring canal historical precinct. One kilometre away is a superb shopping centre with high end brand names and a modern new fit out.||This property is one of Hangzhou’s best kept secrets (for the moment) as if you are looking for a quiet well maintained hotel to stay at - this property should be at the top...

What a wonderful hotel!

The place looks great, and even better at night time. The location is a little out of the center, which is great for us. It's next to a beautiful canal that is like a fairy tale setting at night. The hotel is also like this. I went with my girlfriend for a birthday getaway, and had a wonderful time. The staff are very good, polite, helpful, and added to the experience. The room was prefect, and felt luxurious and expensive, without costing the earth. The breakfast was great way to start the day with lots of choices. The hotel has its own bar and coffee at the back which is on the canal front, an we had a romantic walk along the canal at night after our dinner and dessert in the coffee shop.

You can easily get a taxi or local bus to downtown Hangzhou, West lake, or Xixi park. Downside, the 1000rmb for deposit is a little high. Apart from that, it's a great place to stay.

I have stayed at Che'fle 6 times during 2019 and have chosen it as my primary business hotel for Hangzhou. Che'fle is a wonderful idea - converting former silk mill into a hotel and conference center. Property is gorgeous, staff is incredibly helpful. Rooms are perfect for business travel. WiFi has improved greatly in quality over last 12 months. Location on Grand Canal is beautiful. Breakfast is solid quality. Plenty of restaurant options nearby on Canal walk and in nearby shopping mall area. Quality grocery market is a 5 min walk.
