Holiday Inn Express HANGZHOU GONGSHU — Hotel in Hangzhou City

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express Gongshu. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the city center. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a lot of variety.

What made my stay even more memorable was the excellent service from the front office staff, especially Kent Qin and Linda Bu. Kent was very helpful and friendly, and he assisted me with local navigation and bus ticket booking.

Linda was very patient and courteous, and she offered me an extended late check-out as an IHG Silver Elite member. She also recognized me by name and thanked me for my loyalty.

I really appreciate their professionalism and kindness, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hangzhou. They are the reason why I will come back to Holiday Inn Express Gongshu. Great job,...

We've just spent on overnight in this hotel last night as part of our tour here in China. The bed and pillow are comfortable. The bathroom is quite small, and there is no door to shut when you shower, which I didn't like because the water kept coming out of the shower area. The water pressure is good. A bit the dark in the bathroom, too. We have a small veranda.

The breakfast is good however you have to cross over to the itner side of this hotel. This hotel has their laundry facility that you have to pay by getting coins in the foyer area. The lifts are absolutely slow and take so much time, lol

This hotel is far from the downtown area, and this is like a 45-minute drive from the west lake where we watch the night show.

This hotel is not in a super location, but it is in a nice location to be able to get to other areas easily enough. There is a shopping mall close, a park and several other things you can enjoy as well. The room was and hotel itself seemed very clean, the staff friendly, and breakfast was enjoyable overall. If you get the breakfast buffet, you will want to go to the main buffet and not the second-floor buffet which only has a fraction of the main buffet. I would stay here again if I needed to go to Hangzhou and stay somewhere. For the price, honestly, it cannot be beaten.
