Holiday Inn Express Hohhot East Station, an IHG Hotel — Hotel in Hohhot City

Just about 1 km walk from Houbutaqi Station (Exit C) — very convenient if you're arriving by train.

We booked a 1 King Bed Smart Room with Balcony, including breakfast for 2 pax and a midnight canteen (light supper included!) for only RM 429 for 2 nights. Really great value for money!

🧼 The room was very clean, comfy, and well-heated — perfect for the icy late December weather (temperatures ranged from -2°C to -10°C in the day, and dropped to -20°C at night!). The balcony gave us nice views of Hohhot city even in the cold.

🛍️ Next to the hotel, there’s a mini market where you can buy snacks and basic groceries, which is super helpful.

This was the first time I'd stayed here, having seen it under construction for years, as I'd pass by it every day on the way to work. I was very impressed. The location is excellent for those taking a train to or from Hohhot East, which also means Metro Line 1 is nearby (only a few stops away from the airport).
