Forest Valleyland — Hotel in Hong Kong

For anyone reading this comment, I strongly suggest you not to go this place. We prepaid a 2D1N visit and rented a bbq service. And end up calling a police and leave the place before dawn.

Unfortunately , they havent clearly label what is charged and what not. They suddenly claims there is some surcharge on the extra wood. At first, we think that is fine and agree to pay (it is only $30) yet we have to emphasise there is no labels nor remarks on the package regarding the surcharge.

Then! The owner went wild and cruelly rude to us, he said we should apologise to him (why??), then try to put out fire and even accused us to steal wood. The owner emotion was very unstable. We tried to communicate to him to claim down and talk about it the next day cos we seriously not here to fight but enjoy a good moment. But he just cannot control his emotion End up police need to be involved and proven that there is no way he can sue us as stealing.

But so what? Our whole experience is ruined. Food, mood etc… We end up left the place before dawn, we seriously afraid that he would do anything to us in the middle of the night or the next day, given a fact that is a Yuen Long Village place

So, for anyone seeing this comment, trust me. You don’t deserve to pay and...

AVOID THIS PLACE - It's a nightmare. The owner seems emotionally unstable.

The environment is also poor. It's NOISY. The highway is just 50-100 meters away, so you can hear cars all night long. There are high-voltage power lines directly above the camping site and piles of trash just outside the front gate. Quite ugly.

Not worth the money. Go to another site, or even better, drive to a beautiful beach...
