Legend Garden Hotel — Hotel in Huizhou

Was booked by business associates to stay here because it was one of the 2 top hotels in this town, and within 30 min drive from the office. Shopping mall within 10 min walking distance. ||Room-wise it is a little dated. You could see some efforts have been put into upgrading the corridors and the room so it is quite comfortable. It was quite quiet so I think the sound-proof walls are ok. Wi-fi was slow and in China, a lot of websites were blocked so I don't really surf except for work.||Plenty of channels available to watch but mostly Chinese channels, which is fine for me. ||Many people said the small cafe on the 1st floor was good, but I find it too oily and salty for my taste. Breakfast buffet had a good variety, and you could take it either on the 1st floor on building A or on 17th floor on building B. Anytimes when I go to Huizhou for business I arrive this hotel from Hong Kong airport directly by coach van. Actually, I didn't booked any hotels in Huizhou this time. So, I want to stay this hotel easyly. When I reservation a room, one of assistant manager asked me about where I from. I'm afraid this hotel workers can't speak english well but this manager is well. At that time I felt so cold so, I asked them a good heating system room. ||Then the manager said they will upgrade my room to deluxe type but standard price. When I went to my room, a house keeping women turned on heating system and another portable heating machine playing to my bed. It's amazing good service. Travelling on business, this hotel was not too far from the factory I was visiting. So I stayed here. Multiple towers it seems, so you might have to go outside from the lobby to get to your tower. I stayed in the "vip" tower, it has a little "western " restaurant up on the 17?.. floor. the breakfast there was ok (included), not great just OK & Just get the coffee from the machine NOT the pot. .
