First of all, the breakfast here is amazing. Almost better than the hot springs. The room upgrade for a private onsen is well worth it as well. All in all this place is really nice to relax. Bring friends, family, or your partner.

it is far away from the city but it is quiet. I like the room with owned hot spring. There is no need to share with the public. resonable price.

I only stayed at the resort for one evening, so this review is based on a one-night stay. I was with a tour group of approximately thirty individuals along with my family of ten. ||||I stayed in one of the villa style hotel rooms. On the main floor of this townhouse style complex, there was a common living room area, backyard with a small patio set overlooking a pond, a communal bathroom, and an automated Mah Jong table for use. This main floor area was available to anyone staying in the four-unit complex. Fortunately, for us, our entire family took up this complex and we were able to have the entire unit to ourselves.||||The individual units were upstairs on two levels - two units on each level. Each unit had two twin size beds and a desk. The units facing the water each had their own private balcony with a small patio set for two. The other units on the opposite side had two one-seaters as a replacement.||||The units were fairly clean. The common area was spacious and there was an abundant number of blankets and pillows to be used as spares. Unfortunately, we did find a number of deceased larger insects in the bathroom. The bathroom doors were sliding doors and, despite being a tinted glass, the silhouettes of the individual inside were still very visible from the bedroom. This was more a problem for the teenagers sharing a bedroom rather than the older couples. The downstairs bathroom, the communal one, also seemed to be a bit unkempt compared to the individual units. The mirror on the ground floor bathroom was ridden with dirt.||||The resort itself was a relaxing experience. The mineral baths available were simply small personal hot-tub sized pools of hot water. During the day, the heat seemed almost unbearable. The resort was, however, open until 1am and in the cool evening, the warm waters were fantastic. There was also a water park available for the children and a wave pool that was quite fun equipped with large water slides. There is no beach or shopping available, but the man-made resort area is large enough to entertain for a relaxing weekend. Also, there was a complimentary cart service available to pick us up from our complexes to the resort at any time with a simple phone call and less than a one minute wait at all times.||||There were also other amenities available at a fee such as an interesting spa experience with fish who nibbled away at your dead skin. It was a wonderful experience and there was no time limit at a flat rate of $28 RMB. The hotel staff were quite friendly and well-organized. There was also a small cafe area available in the center of the spa area with complimentary soft drinks, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, and sandwiches. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our experience.||||The resort is not a five-star hotel with the luxuries of a Caribbean resort, however, it was a pleasant place in the Taishan region and well worth the low cost of the stay. I would recommend it for those looking strictly to relax with loved ones or friends and having a large enough group to accommodate an entire "villa" would be ideal. Also, all the signs in the actual resort have English...

I stayed in this resort one night near the end of September, right at the end of Canton's Rainy season. I had some difficulty making the correct reservation, which was not the fault of the hotel. ||The Front Desk staff were all pleasant, but one young lady (the tallest of the group on PM shift), was especially helpful & professional in resolving my problem (your nametags are too small and should include an actual name). She did a great job.||||This convention sized resort has many amenities both in the building and throughout the grounds. There are a variety of saunas set at a nice range of temperatures spaced around a lush tropical garden setting, as well as a small waterpark (with a nice wave pool) and some additional massage & health therapy attractions. There are a couple of restaurants, specialty shops and quick-serve convenience food stores here as well.||||My complaints are relatively minor and correctable. 1] For a place that offers so many saunas (making people warm) why are the guests unable to get any ice? There are no ice machines on the floors or ice available in the restaurants --- and they have a Bar too! 2] It appeared that if Dreamland wants to be a top resort, there were many areas that needed repainting and very minor repairs. The quality of the building maintenance doesn't quite match the care taken throughout the grounds and garden. 3] It would appear that the facility allows smoking. It is a very spacious and airy place, but of course some people will still be rude enough to smoke in the restaurants (and even in the elevators!). I am not an anti smoker, but this can be very unpleasant. 4] In the bathrooms and showers, an all purpose soap/shampoo/conditioner product is purchased. It is a cheap way around giving your guests the basic things they need for an enjoyable stay. This was a big problem for my wife (tangled hair). Be thankful she did not write this review!||||Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the Dreamland Resort. Professional staff, wonderful messages, relaxing saunas and well kept gardens help make the extra effort to get...
