Fortune Commercial Hotel — Hotel in Jinhua

I have mixed feelings about this one. The staff and services were alright. I mean you always have to keep in mind how much you are paying. By the ways, the rate at the counter (direct booking) is 150 RMB a night. It can get you slightly late check out etc unlike online booking. The location is okay. Depends where and what you wish to do. I came purely for travel. Lots of local Chinese restaurants in the area behind the hotel. I have to say 90 percent of the guests look sad and unfriendly. Most are from the middle east and don't even smile or appear friendly. So the place lacks vibe due to all these fat pigs in the lobby with their agents. The cheapest room you pick will most likely be on the 8th floor (same as where breakfast is served). Breakfast was okay. I wasn't amused. I mean taste wise nothing memorable but countwise variety. The carpets that are often mentioned in reviews are actually noticeable. Stained from ages. The rooms are kind of run down too. But they clean timely, toilets do have a health faucet and hot water. AC is old school, bed about average but might be worth the price. Although later on I did find something slightly nicer for the same price. But I won't rate this as a bad place. Upon late arrivals at 11:00 PM on 28 Feb, i was given a cheaper room than i booked. I booked Twin Room yet they gave me Budget Standard room. I complained about this to the receptionist, yet he tried to convince me that those two are the same prices (obvious lie). The first Budget Standard room that i got in are so dark, with many liquid marks on the wall (idk what that is), cracks on the floor and wall, etc. So then they gave me another Budget Standard room, this time it was better. But still with so many unwell maintained room. Liquid marks on the wall, cracks, weird window (see the pic and you’ll understand). I can’t do anything about it since they told me there’s no Twin Room for me to stay that night. And so i accepted it for what it is, and just sleep on it. There is renovation work on the floor where the first room they gave us is located, and it smells like paint. carpets are dirty. There is no WiFi in the room. the furniture is very old and worn out. bathroom and toilet are not clean. reception gave another room. Likewise, it is not clean, there is no wifi in the room.
