Wanda Realm Jinhua — Hotel in Jinhua

Passing through Jinhua I had a night stay here, so first time arriving here.|It has a decent location with shopping and restaurants right next door, and is about 20 minutes by car to either train station.||The room looked very nice aesthetically, but for $100 a night, without breakfast, and in the middle of nowhere, I expected more.|It says it is 5 star, I don't think it is. 4 for sure.|Main disappointments were in the room.|Aircon was over complicated, I couldn't get the temperature of the room down all night.|The temperature and the bed (harder than I would have expected) led to a poor night sleep.|TV is way over complicated, 15 minutes to get a channel.|The power in the room has issues. I had my phone on charge all night, even switched to airplane mode with all apps closed.... I got a measley 20% charge by the morning... Something seriously wrong, I have experienced this before in China.|Not my charger, it's a Chinese phone with Chinese cable... Cue power saving mode all day.|Heavy rain meant the reception area by the elevators were flooded....|Staff .... Superb, I can't fault them, but for the money I expected more.|A...

First trip of the new year and glad to stay at Wanda Realm Jinhua. I’ve commented before on this hotel and my opinion has not changed. Always consistent high standard, great checking service and room very good looking over river. Jinhua is a city on the move with major new buildings everywhere. Typical Wanda setup with the huge mall next to it. Rooms are laid out well. ||Main complaints, and these are consistent - I have stayed here over 5 times: ||Every time I get here the windows in the room are open and it’s blazing hot. You need a special tool to close them...the handle of the spoons are a great substitute for the tool if you don’t want to call the desk. The AC gives you false hope, but generally doesn’t work past 23/24 degrees C. The carpets are NEVER vacuumed. I don’t think they own one. Check in takes forever. Hair in the bathtub and spots all over the floors. ||On a positive note, the sheets always appear to be clean.||This does appear to be the best in Jinhua, so a somewhat captive...
