Wanda Realm Jining — Hotel in Jining

DONT BOOK EXECUTIVE ROOMS!You will end up paying 500 (!!!) Yuan per day for NOTHING. (If you want to stay here, book Deluxe rooms)The Executive Lounge is closed since 2 years and was replaced by a "happy hour" that has to be requested by Trip.com and is not announced at check-in or even as an alternative when asking for the lounge - You have to specifically ask for the happy hour! As I understood it is nothing for free, but discounted items in a restaurant - no lounge or workspace.Well, the Hotel is good, nicely located. Clean enough. Amazing first impression from outside and lobby. Anyhow the false advertisement of this room (I asked Trip.com to take that false info off their website) cost me a lot of money.As I saw and understood: Deluxe Rooms for 500 CNY less are exactly (!) the same! Maybe a few levels lower, but, trust me, the view out of the window will be boring to all sides. Jiling is beautiful on the streets, not...

I have stayed at this property multiple times pre-covid. My previous stays were all very good. This stay fell well below previous stays.

The check-in and check-out process was terrible. The staff were unfriendly and the counter was under staffe

The rooms didn’t have A/C and was very hot. We were told that the A/C had been shut off for the season. This is expected in some lesser hotels but it’s not acceptable for a “5 star” hotel. The cleanliness of the room is below expectations for a Wanda property.

Breakfast was very underwhelming. There’s a Starbucks next door so you’re probably better off there.

The location is quite convenient with many dining options nearby.

Overall, the low rating is a direct reflection on training...

I stayed here for two nights, and i was really suprised how good this hotel is. Very classy and clean hotel. Position of the hotel is on the city center, just a few steps from McDonald's, Starbucks and Wanda Plaza shopping mall. Stayed in the King Deluxe room, everything was perfect, big room, big bed and nice bath tub in the bathroom. Breakfast offer is really big, standard Chinese cuisine and a large offer of Western food. All staff speaks English enough so you don't have problems with all details...
