Reception and check in was quick, with friendly porter taking my bags to room on ninth floor in tower one. The room had a smoke aroma, and stained carpets. There was no hotel manual in the drawer, or brochure. There were no small washcloths. The drain in bathtub would not open.|There was no stocked mini bar. The fridge made a rumbling disturbing noise. There was a constant noise of running water in the pipes in the wall, and disturbed my nights sleep. The walls also dont have the necessary soundproofing or insulation, to prevent noise such as TV, people talking, etc from the adjacent room. The breakfast in terms of Western taste, had only apple a a fruit. There was no cereal or fresh salad, or cold milk. No fresh brewed coffee either. There was also a chilly feeling in the bathroom. The showe has a strong spray, but could not adjust the stream. The shower was in bathtub, no seperate shower stall. The mattress was comfortable, jowever the linen felt somewhat overstarched and stiff, as opposed to a soft feel. The bath towel also was not soft to the touch. There was no hand lotion in bathroom.|Only two elevator banks. No electric outlet next to bed to plug in mobile phone. No...

The carpet was very worn and stained , the mattresses hard (which is the norm). The sink water pressure was very weak, however the shower was strong and hot. No small wash cloths, and shower was part of bathtub. No mini bar. WiFi was working fine, and speed was good. |Staff very friendly and check in quick.|Odor from kitchen permeated through some of the corridors. I couldn't find any english TV broadcasts. Room decor was average. Doesn't appear like the windows were cleaned from the outside in quite a while. Insufficient outlets, only one by desktop and none near the beds. There was also no hotel service book in the room or the drawers.|All in all a good...

The bathroom needs to be upgraded. We had a corner room with great view of the city. Wi fi was only available at the lobby.||Breakfast was great with international and local spreads. Hand made noodles were excellent.||High end shopping malls and night market within walking distance of hotel.||When we departed, the staff bid us farewell and walked us to our tour bus.||Only setback was the smoke at the lobby. This seems to be a common problem in China hotels as guests are allowed to smoke at lobbies and...
