Howard Johnson Tropical Garden Plaza Kunming — Hotel in Kunming

I paid extra and booked the hotel online on the official hotel site.||when I arrived the hotel they could not find my reservation. I showed them the confirmation I received from them, but it took them half an hour to retrieve it and give me the room key. I stayed at Howard Johnson for a business trip. Comfortable room, nice breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff. We arrived a bit early so that our rooms were not available yet. However, the manager upgraded us to the suites to make sure we could get rooms and have our rest. Throughout our stay, the manager was also very approachable, which helped us in having a comfortable and convenient stay! Very close to this hotel, there is a park (Luolong park) with jogging track surrounding a small lake....

I stayed at this Hotel because we had an event at the convention center just 10 min walk across the stress which was very convenient, food was also great for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a variety of Chinese and western food very good and fresh, rooms are big and have nice comfy beds compare to most hotels in China, I will definitely stay here again, people very helpful, if you do not speak mandarin is not their fault, as a visitor we have to adapt and find ways to communicate google translate app...
