Crowne Plaza Nanchang Riverside Hotel — Hotel in Nanchang

Well, as a Spire Elite Member, I always prefer staying in IHG Hotels because the Overall Stay Experience in IHG Hotels are always excellent and second to home.

I travelled to China for the first time, but I was not in dilemma about my stay experience, because I have chosen IHG Crowne Plaza for my stay. It will be indeed an exceptional one.

I was greeted as a Club Member and was given an upgraded room -Suite which had 270 deg view of Nanchang in 31st Floor of the hotel. The view was mindblowing indeed. I personally thank Alwyn Liu and Kiki Zou - Front Desk Manager for taking care of my preference of stay and welcome amenities.

Local Taxi's for travel for business and leisure were well arranged and my personal safety was well considered while booking the local taxi. I was never late to any of my business meetings, because the taxi's were arranged on time with utmost safety.

Lastly about food, well what to say. Breakfast had more than 60 items and Lunch Buffet had all you will find to eat - hot and smoky. Dinner was well catered and was piping hot when delivered to room.

Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay and enjoy the City Centre of Nanchang from this hotel. I would always come back to this hotel, if i visit Nanchang again....

1 Swimming pool:

Need to improve the environment temperature to fix the root cause, not always waste money to heat the water, the hotel need get the benefit and is not charity, suggest save the operation cost A.S.A.P. And GM can use the waste money to increase the welfare

2 Poor Rent for electrical car

This is new service from JMEV. suggest hotel let every staff know this and can clarify any question from customer

3 Reception desk:

Hope the pregnant will give a pretty baby, She is nice mummy. Suggest she need relax herself and doesn't always stand there. While the staff there is always smile as they are handsome or cute

4 Executive lounge:

This is best in our hotel, suggest give them 10 scores(total is 10).

Laura and Kico are busy and nice hearted person

Rose is clever and always smile

Shelley is warm hearted, unfortunately, she has left from hotel. I miss her so much

4 Canteen in 2nd floor

The service is pretty good and I like Nanchang rice noodle as I can remember my childhood

Booked a soon to be expiring IHG credit card free anniversary night stay directly with IHG on their 1-800 reservations line since it was for a friend and I wasn't going to be there. Friend showed up, staff checked them in no problem. An hour later staffed called the room saying I had to call IHG again to get it approved since I wasn't there. I called, IHG reservations called the front desk, couldn't get anyone who spoke english so they opened a case for me. Got a response the next day from the hotel saying my friend had to be added to the reservation at least 7 days in advance due to some China policy. Was not informed of this by IHG reservations when I booked it the day before directly in my friends name (she was not added after the reservation was made), was not informed at check in this was an issue or my friend would have not checked in and would have checked out immediately if the staff could communicate to IHG customer support when they called. In the end, she had to pay the nightly cash rate which would have come with breakfast and earned 0 points on this cash, and my free night expired so could not be redeposited despite assurances that it would be on checkout by...
