Sunshine Hotel — Hotel in Nanhu District

My partner told me that he always wanted to stay at Sunshine Hotel and that in Jiaxing it has a good reputation.||||The hotel is at the corner of a 4 way crossroads. Also there are couple of shopping malls and one at the time of being there looked like in the final stages of completion. There were also very good places to eat that would suit everyone's budget.||||Everything in China is massive and impressive even in Jiaxing and there are lots of Govermental Buildings nearby.||||We occupied two rooms during our stay, the second after a complaint and was upgraded to a very more superior room to what we had at first and better decor. The hotel lobby is very nice and pleasant. The rates were very good value.||||The rooms were both pleasant and different by themselves in what they offered. Toiletries were of good quality and the decor was nice. Wifi was included however the speeds no matter where you went, were very slow.||||The second roomI believe was more Executive in style and had memory foam pillows and the double bed could be remotely activated to give you comfort for your sleep and if you laid in bed to watch TV.||||The drawers contained something that initially made us chuckle, however we thought that it was quite a good idea, especially if you were in an amorous mood.||||As for breakfast, I can say that the variety on offer is good and although most of their business is local market. The food selection can rival that of a top western hotel. As for the quality, I can only hope that it has improved however it will not stop us staying next time we are here in Jiaxing.||||We tried the swimming pool in the hotel, however it was very cold outside and the temperature needed turning up as well inside. If you wanted to use the jacuzzi and steam and sauna room, a member of staff had to turn it on and off for you. One of the bizarre things were that all clients had to wear swim caps. Right upon my arrival I knew it wouldn't be a good experience as the other times before when no bell boy came to see me to offer to carry on my luggages to my room. Then as I settled into my room a maid brought me a mango yogurt that had such a funny smell I didn't even taste it. Luckily, the bed and pillows were still comfortable so I slept well. The morning after, I went to have breakeast and you could tell the food were the lefovers from last night as nothing looked fresh. Also, the coffee has such a strong sour smell and taste I only took a sip. Finally, upon checking out the lady at the front desk gave me the invoice in chinese just like that: the other times before I had a nice invoice in english in an enveloppe. Sad to say, but next time I go to Jiaxing I might just try...
