Welcome tea upon check in - refreshing.||||Check out:||Swift and Effective.||||Will definitely stay here if ever in Nanjing again.||||Location of hotel:||Take exit no. 4 of XinMoFanLu Metro Station, turn right upon when you hit the road. Walk in the direction of the flow of traffic. The hotel is just on your right at the traffic junction (where Bank of GuangZhou bank is at).||||Room:||We booked a Superior King room. Usual room amenities, hairdryer, toiletries, water, tea and coffee making facilities, nice TV. But no in-room safe and no fridge. Shampoo, conditioner and bath gel smell absolutely fabulous!! Came in 280ml bottles with pump. Hotel sells them too. ||||Hotel Facilities:||Small business counter at lobby.||Wifi in room was reasonably good.||Breakfast - buffet available for RMB48 but we did not try it.||Self-service laundry - situated opposite room 4002. This has got to be the best equipped and most comfortable self-service laundry in a hotel. And best of all, it is Free!||||Surrounding areas:||Lots of small take away shops and eateries along the main road (5 minutes from hotel). Must try: handmade beef noodle shop (along the same street side as hotel is on). Delicious, hot and portions very big. Beef noodle soup RMB10 - price very reasonable too. ||Another must try: local bakery shop selling local cookies and local cakes. Check out the madeleines-look-alike cakes - you will go back for more - I did! 😊||There used to be Lotte World Mall just across the road but it is now closed for redevelopment. A new mall will be built in its place in the future. So for now, nearest shopping malls are at XinJieKou (nearest Metro: XinJieKou or take the bus, it is easier if you can read Chinese characters). We enjoyed our stay. The shower had plenty of hot water and the bed was very comfortable. The AC did not work properly. In fact, the temperature never changed no matter what the setting was. The frosted window from the room to the bathroom left no privacy. To shield the toilet from the room, the door had to be left open. For a single traveler this would not be a problem, but if travelling with a friend or spouse, it was a very awkward situation.||To reach the hotel exit at the Xinmofanmalu Metro Station and turn right at the street. The hotel is not on the main road, but is on a side street to the right. Great hotel at good location. It is a less than 10 mins walk to xinjiekou mrt station. Along the streets were many food store and also had 2 convenience store beside it. Room wise was comfy. The hotel also had free supper every day from 9.30 pm to 11.30 pm. Food delivery was sent up by robot. They also had free laundry service. You can request for staff to do it for u or also DIY. Front office staff especially (阿象） and the bald young manager in office wear were kind and helpful. 阿象 helped to call up telecom services even after her work hours to check if we could buy china sim. Ngl, she was abit clueless but at least enthusiastic and helpful throughout. Overall highly recommended if...
