---------- Good things ----------The service is good and the breakfast is well catered, the staff work hard to fulfill the needs of guests. The room is clean. Bed is changed twice per day, if you don't need a service they will acknowledge that. No smoking policy is strictly enforced, so the hotel has a very pleasant smell. Air conditioning in the room is superior to that of competitor hotels, it actually cools the whole room. The minibar is stocked with complimentary (free) products upon arrival, coconut water can, herbal tea can, sprite can and orange juice small bottle.Fruits are provided on arrival.Swimming pool is free, gym is free, sauna is free, steam room is free.Beautiful views.Buffet dinner is expensive but overall worth it, unlimited drinks, a good variety of food, western and Chinese food. The walls are thick, very quiet rooms, and you can play music and it's difficult for people outside to hear.----------- Bad things -----------Visiting the swimming pool, my towel was on the side of the pool, and it was taken away without notice, asked where to get a towel from staff member, the staff said "I don't know" and walked away.Fridge didn't work initially so needed replacing. Reading light switches are incorrectly wired. Some dirt on the switches.International calling is not free.I had late night, and put on do not disturb so I wouldn't get disturbed whilst I was sleeping during the daytime, we received a phone call to ask if this was really the case and if room service was required. (Maybe this isn't bad for most people, I appreciate the care, but it did wake me up).Changing rooms close at 10pm, but gym is 24 hours, so make sure to get changed in your room.Extra notes, please be sure to read before booking:----- In the picture there is a red light, in the bathroom mirror, do not be afraid, it's not a camera, the mirror has a TV, which was a massive relief. -----Swimming caps are required for the pool, you can use the free shower caps, but they sell swimming caps for 90CNY.A good selection of restaurants and bars nearby if you don't want the hotel food.Shavers are free but need to ask for them.Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided but in small bottles.Afternoon tea has a price of around 300 to 400CNY.It is worth the price, however as with any hotel there's room for improvement, I would personally recommend...
Read moreFirst of, the property is great, new building, great location, the rooms themselves (I've been there twice) are beautiful. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, you would think you are halfway there but...||The service is another story. The doorguys are not there at night, at daytime they have little clue what they got hired for. The front desk at night seems to be the only staff there. Even while asking in the reservation for non-feathers, the room had feathers. Getting that fixed at night was a one hour adventure that involves the front desk guy. They have at night literally nobody there. Don't bother asking for room service, don't ask anything it won't happen. The cleaning maids unfortunately also are on leave it seems as there was dust and dirt everywhere.||I've been there twice, unfortunately this is twice the exact same experience. Don't bother and go to the Ritz. Far better quality of the property...

Jumeirah Nanjing is a stunning 5-star luxury hotel that delivers on comfort and elegance. The rooms are spacious and equipped with every amenity you could need, ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay.
The breakfast is delightful, offering a wide range of options. However, I would have appreciated more local dishes prepared fresh on the spot to enhance the cultural experience.
The location is ideal if you’re attending the Expo convention, as it’s conveniently close to the venue. However, the hotel is a bit removed from Nanjing’s city center, so you’ll need to rely on taxis to explore.
One crucial tip: double-check the hotel’s location on Apple Maps or Trip.com, as the Google Maps placement may not be accurate.
Overall, Jumeirah Nanjing is an excellent choice for a luxurious stay in the city, especially if you’re in town for an event...
