Shangri-La Nanning — Hotel in Nanning

Shangri-La Nanning served us with an impeccable international premium service in local Guangxi China. We opted for the Horizon Premier Room which gave us a beautiful panoramic view of the Nanning City. The hotel is decorated in a next-generation modern Shangri-la style which is inspiringly and beautifully different from the outgoing design. ||Aside from the property being the tallest in the group, what amazed us was the heartwarming and detail-minded services from the Horizon Club Lounge team. Expect passionate staff who would happily greet and serve you at the lounge during breakfast or the evening. Upon our check-in, Rose showed her passion in the city and could not wait to show us some of the landmarks from the windows of our room on the 87/F. She has since been checking on us to make sure everything we needed was catered. ||We would spend our mornings and evenings at the lounge, where we would be delighted to meet Lynn and Nina serving us with food and wine. They would remember our special requests and take initiatives prepare us the same items the next day we visit the lounge. This is a super 5 star hotel befitting of the Shangri-la name. Modern and grand, and attention to miniscule details everywhere. For example, run the room key over the lift sensor, and your floor is automatically pressed. How clever ! Every staff member was smiling and welcoming. The check-in foyer was on the 68th floor, which commanded a superb panoramic view of Nanning. My room was cosy and comfortable, with a huge wall mounted TV. The TV was thoughtfully recessed into the wall without exposing the ugly wirings like in most others hotels. There were about 120 free movies available, but unfortunately, there were no Hollywood blockbusters. Hotel breakfast was one of the best, with a good combination of quality Western and Chinese selections. The hotel is also connected to a posh mall, Mixc, with countless choices of restaurants, coffee, and tea shops. Highly recommended and the 1st choice hotel...

This is my second stay at your hotel, and once again, everything was perfect. I would like to extend my special thanks to Yann Chang (Deputy Manager, Front Office) for his outstanding assistance. Before my arrival, I had several parcels sent to the hotel, and Yann promptly kept me updated on their status, assuring me they would be safely stored until my arrival.

During my checkout, I had numerous pieces of luggage, and Tony Li (Front Office Manager) and his team went above and beyond in helping me transport everything to my car. Their efforts truly exemplify the exceptional service I associate with a five-star hotel.
