Hanzhou Bay Universal Hotel — Hotel in Ningbo

I spend nearly 30 nights every year in this hotel, rooms are great, and on the first floor is possible to have some great food at the Japanese style restaurant. Downside are the wifi which quite often doesn't work and the breakfast....oh man....ok we are in China and it would be stupid to expect a proper western breakfast but here is really bad, coffee is nearly undrinkable, cold bacon and old cakes. But this problem can easily be fixed, as you walk out of the lobby turn left and right on the corner of the building there is a Starbucks. Every morning I meet western people who stay at the hotel here and I can say pretty much all of them after one attempt of having breakfast in the hotel they go...

Our company usually book this hotel for business trips, so I have no time to stay in my room for much time or look for entertainment nearby. In my opinion rooms are very good equipped, clean and with all the necessary staff inside. Room service is also good. The only problem is that for European person it's hardly possible to have a good breakfast here: Bad coffee, cold meal, no any good desserts, everything is so Asian. Still you can go to Starbucks which is in 150 metres. Besides the reception works very slow. If you need to quit in time then go to check...

Stay On 16th October 2015 , One of the best luxuries 5 star hotel I have stay in China , Reason to choose this hotel is visit my old supplier at the small town , No tourist attraction near by . ||||From reception , coffee house , room and amenities , all are 5 star all the way . ||||When ever I be back again to visit my supplier , for sure I will choose...
