Ningbo Empark Grand Hotel — Hotel in Ningbo

Spent 4 nights at the Empark Grand Hotel near NIngbo. What an opulent gem! Great rate (half what I paid in Shanghai), huge suite like room, breakfast with food stations from Japanese, Chinese, English, German, and American. The lobby is so big I could have ridden a bike in laps around inside and it is decorated in art and even has an art dealer inside. This is the first Chinese hotel I have been in that had a functioning ATM! They also have a couple restaurants and a bar in the hotel and an American style bar and grill across the street. There is a walking park with a culture garden across the street that was wonderful to take morning walks. I was there for business so I don’t know if there is any sightseeing, but it is close to the SVW...

If you’re just looking for a place to sleep hell yeah! This hotel is perfect! ||If you’re looking for a 5 star service and expecting the hotel to be as charming inside as it is outside well you’ll be disappointed!||Super basic customer service! Can’t say poor but extremely basic for the price you pay! Very old and rusty! There’s a very strange pungent smell as you enter the elevator! Rooms are old, wood is scratched! Bathroom is old! Shower is broken! The bed is nice though! ||Overall, the price is not worth the place! The same price is a big city gets you better everything! For the small area like hangzhou bay it’s a ok hotel but they should review...
