Hai Tian Qingdao — Hotel in Qingdao

We visited in February and it was -8 degrees Celsius (17 degrees F), yet they couldn't get our room temperature below 28 deg (82 F). We complained and they moved us from the 30th floor down to the 29. Our new room was 26 deg C (78 deg F). We had the floor heater off, the window vent open, and the blinds completely closed so we didn't get to enjoy the view. The staff said the AC doesn't work bc the building engineers turned it off for the winter. Either the building was engineered terribly or the building engineers and management are clueless. It's probably both.

It was terribly uncomfortable, we wore only our underwear, and we had to deal with the heat for 3 days. I do NOT recommend this hotel until they get their HVAC...
