Hi there, i have stayed here two times, 5-6 days for each time, however, it has no improvements since 1st time after I made the online survery, or has no follow up message from SPG customer service, which is sort of disappointment to this hotel, couple of points to share: 1, The hotel room is clean and housekeeping maintain the good quality. 2, The restaurant -YUE, also maintain good food. 3, Howeever, the buffet area where we took for the breakfast and dinner, the service is awful. Seems don’t have enough waiter/waitress to serve the customer, nobody show you to the table, no coffee or tea to serve until you ask them to help, or you go to the coffee machine by yourself. The table cannot make a clean status in a timely manner. And sometimes you cannot even find a spoon for food, or for coffee.
4, The Check-out experience is out of my expectation, I spent 30-40 mins for the check out with a long queue, all the people ask for open another counter for the check out, but the response from hotel is only 2, interesting things happened is after 30 mins, they finally pull another girl for the check out. Read moreI'm sorry to say that the hotel service is far below average Sheraton standard. The reception staff was unprofessional upon our arrival. I understood that I was served by a trainee under her supervisor; but she was totally unfamiliar with the check-in process, and her supervisor didn't come for assistance. There was no significant direction or sign for the elevator. After we completed the check-in process, we wandered around for some time before we finally found the elevator which took a long way to walk in dark corridor. The rooms I and my college booked had the privilege to use the VIP lounge. However, when we went to the lounge, there was no service staff. Anyway we just wanted to find a place to sit down and discuss some business cases. Suddenly, a gentleman came out of the meeting room in the lounge, abruptly asking us to leave. He claimed that he booked the meeting room, and we were not allowed to stay in the lounge which is outside of the meeting room. Read moreI have stayed here 3 times in this Hotel and twice i left due to the none function of the AC, i book always a suite room with lounge access. I have stayed now to try again after asking if all problems where been solved with AC in this Hotel , because i like the location and the staff members and the GM who left last month suddenly. When i entered the room straight away it felt warm 26 degree and i complained again and they simply say yes suite rooms facing south and are warm, sorry !! well it was raining and no sun, next morning i asked agin if they can solve the problem , but sorry sir its not possible because its a suite room on the south side . so i decided to check out again and move to other hotel , up to now no manager came to me to speak about this matter, Reception simply say sorry its like this!! So if you can not sleep like me in 26-30 degree in you room never go there or only in winter time. Good advice close in summer and open in winter or tell to people who are from Europe you are...
