Wyndham Qingdao — Hotel in Qingdao

The wau they treated me definitely damages the brand of Wyndham and the overall brand experience. At check out they forgot to check my health app, the sauna is not 24h as they had promised (and only some "hot huts with less that 54 degress where available), access to the sauna/spa limited with a voucher (one time per overnight), the promise to have everything in order was not fulfilled and as I did not find the sauna at at least 80 degrees the front desk manager taught me a like a stupid about how to use a sauna (over 50 degrees would be bad for me), no soundproof windows, so the construction site was very annoying too.||The customer attention and treatment was the worst I have ever experienced, with no follow up, no compensation (but giving me back the voucher so I can try the sauna next day). STAY AWAY...

Wow! This hotel has the most beautiful outside environment and amazing food and entertainment. It was my husbands birthday and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special. The hotel is very busy so make reservations for the outside tables if you like sitting outside (honestly inside is too noisy). All staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and beautiful, I like that they have 2 bedroom options. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner is really good with a big variety or if you prefer bbq they also have that option outside. They bbq for you or you can bbq yourself. The hotel itself has everything I needed, but the location is not too great. It is really outskirts of the city, so there is nothing to do aroung and there are not too many places you may go for dinner. There is a shopping mall in aout 7-10 minutes walk away (the road is not too nice to walk along), so you may go there, but there are only chinese food places mostly (except for Starbucks of course)|There is a big hall for breakfast and the choicse is wide.|They ask for the deposit when you check-in and it is more than $100, by the way. Be prepared. My Master Card didn't work, but my collegue's Union Pay did. They took $100 cash, as their excange counter didn't work due to...
