Chuxin Moshe Hotel — Hotel in Shanghai

We are non-Chinese tourists who doesn't speak the local language unfortunately. Keeping that in mind, I hope this review helps international travelers to feel comfortable staying at Chuxin Moshe Hotel.

The hotel was located in a super-local neighborhood, surrounded by amazing locally owned restaurants. None of them speaks English or any other languages, but they were super nice and welcoming while we used translators (if you used a certain type of SIM, you could access Google products). The food was ridiculously cheap, great portion and just simply amazing! All payments should be made in cash or Alipay (they do not accept foreign credit cards).

The hotel was about 20 min car ride away from Disneyland. I think it was fairly distant from the central Shanghai.

The hotel offers free breakfast - mostly Chinese food. It may feel a bit heavy if you are used to fruits and salads type of breakfast. For us, they tasted great! Free coffee/tea/water available at the lobby.

The hotel offers free shuttle to/from the airport (which was about 30 min away, very close) and to/from Disneyland. You will need WeChat, which is similar to LINE or Whatsapp. You can reserve the airport shuttle via WeChat a day in advance, and you agree on the time to be picked up (There were a few different slots). You reserve the Disney shuttle by joining a group chat created by the hotel, and on the day of you going, you basically just announce how many people are riding a shuttle at a designated time on the group chat. Same for the return trip.

The room was clean, big enough for 2 people with 2 large suitcases, good shower, etc. The interior seemed quite new. It was quiet for us! Great bed. They upgraded the room for us, I think.

The hotel staff did not speak English, but really tried their best to support and make us feel comfortable by using translators. Sure, it could get frustrating, but for the service you are getting for the cost, I think it was manageable.

You should not expect to be able to use foreign credit cards, unless a place is super touristy (like Disneyland). Having said that, all payments at the hotel would need to be paid in cash or through Alipay. I don't think there was an ATM available, so you should take the cash out at the airport.

We came to Shanghai to go to Disneyland, and Chuxin Moshe Hotel was exactly what we needed to enjoy Disney cheap and convenient. Highly recommended for anyone...

When enter the room , smell of dog .Looks like dog stay there before .N when I take out the bed cover has hair .. looks like they didn’t change the bed sheet .N about their shuttle bus receptionist said every hour will have hotel shuttle bus to go Disney land ..So just contact the driver .The next day I want to go Disney , than I make appointment with the driver , I said how about 11 am ..Driver said cannot only morning .. N also we cooked instant noddle , in the middle of the night . Before I cooked also I ask first ,, can we eat any of instant noodle here .: n that said can … They didn’t mention that we can’t eat with the strong smell ..But when we cooked ..:They asked us to eat outside ..Imagine in the middle of the night ..:Me n my mom she is almost 80 years old ..And that time was 5 degrees ..Ask us to eat outside ..I feel this hotel the receptionist no manner n no heart ..Also about room :I already told them , That I don’t want to clean the room ..Coz I know I put money everywhere ..So better I on the do not disturb signal n Also told them that I don’t want to clean room , Just give me water .. than they give the water ..End up when we get back the room ..They still clean it up .. end up lost some money in the room . I feel the receptionist very stubborn.. I told them that why still clean up the room ,, they still give many many reason .. than I lazy to talk back them .: feel like I talk with kid , many lies and...

The hotel locate near the disneyland and provide much more bus transfer round than other hotel (up to 10 AM). Even we go to disneyland later around the provided bus round, it only take around 10 minutes with 20 rmb (depend on the didi discount). In fact, you don't need to be near the metro line since there are bus transfer between airport.P.S. They also provide free electric massage chair service.The room is clean and good as the picture post in the TRIP.com application.The staffs are very nice and eager to help or accomodate you. They can't speak english but still try to communicate with you via translator. Breakfast - common as traditional chinese breakfast (boil rice, bun, vegetable) but don't expect much as it relate to your room price.Around the hotel has several restaurants and shops.
