Grand Mercure Shanghai Lingang — Hotel in Shanghai

Quite a nice hotel with a small shopping complex next door that has a few restaurants including a pharmacy/chemist, and also a supermarket. None of these show up on Google Maps. There are also a few other restaurants available along Jiangshan road and plenty of fresh fruit stalls everywhere. The only thing to be aware of is that quite a few places close early. Not sure if that is the same for other restaurants further away. The hotel buffet breakfast was nice with a mix of western and local options available. Dinner can be both buffet or à la carte. The à la carte also has both western and local options. Not sure what was available for the dinner buffet. The front staff were very helpful and I think most of them spoke basic English. They were able to help me get a taxi as I was having troubles doing it via my phone. The physical location is way off on the map. It is actually South West of its displayed location and is at the intersection of Chengxian Road and Yunying Road. Would have no issues...

Wir waren hier für zwei Wochen wegen einer Dienstreise.|Das Hotel ist insgesamt gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit großem Doppelbett und Badezimmer mit Badewanne.|Es gibt die üblichen Hotelsachen: |- Wasserkocher mit Tee/Instantkaffee|- Fernseher|- Schreibtish|- WLAN und LAN!||Die Steckdosen sind für alle möglichen Stecker geeignet (Eurostecker, britische Stecker, US und die chinesischen). Auch USB Typ A ist vorhanden.||Das Frühstücksbuffet war auch in Ordnung. Es gab immer Obst und Salat sowie frische Nudelsuppe. Aber auch westliche Sachen wie Gebäck und Marmelade.|Das Internet war auch okay.|Schade war, dass das Personal kaum Englisch spricht. ||Der große Nachteil ist, dass das Hotel sehr weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt am äußersten Rand in einem Industriegebiet liegt. Mit dem Taxi fährt man je nach Vekehr 1-2 Stunden ins Zentrum. Die nächste U-Bahn ist etwa 30 Minuten mit dem Taxi entfernt (9-10 Euro)|Auf Google Maps nicht eingezeichnet, aber das Hotel ist direkt neben einer Art Shoppingcenter. Es gibt ein paar Resturants und Geschäfte (auch eine Apotheke).|Ansonsten gibt es nicht viel zu sehen.|Die meisten Gäste sind sicherlich wie wir geschäftlich hier. Die Tesla Fabrik ist in der Nähe.||Insgesamt wird es für alle die geschäftlich hier sind ein guter Ort zum Schlafen sein. Aber es lohnt sich nicht für...
