Holiday Inn Express Fangta — Hotel in Shanghai

Great place as expected. The room is big enough and has a kettle and coffee and Chinese tea (no black tea or milk). There’s a Family Mart shop outside to buy necessary food and health items. The hotel is very far from the centre!! (2.5 hours on public transport). Staff are very helpful but can’t help much or provide guidance on what to do in Shanghai. They can help with booking you a cab etc. Breakfast is included but it’s very basic Chinese breakfast. There’s toast and orange marmalade, as well as coffee...

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few months. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are modern with Ben Sherman toiletries. Staff are very professional and courteous. Over the past few months several improvements have been made, now there is a convenience store on site and the restaurant is open for dinner.

It's close to the entrance of the highway but you need to get a taxi to shopping center.

For the first night the bed was a little bit humid but later it was OK because I kept the AC on for the whole day.
