Jinjiang Inn — Hotel in Shanghai

At first staff is very unprofessional. They gave us only one key card which suppose to be placed inside of room that we have electricity. Well, if I need to go out and my wife needs to stay then I need to tske a key card to be able to use elevator. If I take it then she doesn't have electricity. If I leave it, then I can not come back to our room.Second, staff is not friendly at all. They do not speak english, which is acceptable, but they do not make any effort to communicate. They ignore me and waiting that I start speak chinese or that I organize the way how we can communicate.AC at our room didn't work properly, then I went to ask to change the room but AC in another room was the same. Window is very small on left corner of the room and look at the wall in front of window so there is not daily lights and ventialtion is very poor.Also on app is written that they have laundry service, but that is not true. I asked few time different staff but all of them said that they do not have and they were a little rude.I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially foreigners. tried very hard to think of some tittle for this review but couldn't come up with any. I got the late Friday evening Although it is very easy to access from the airport but it was kind of difficult to get the front desk to understand that i need quick access to the internet( there is a problem with the internet line on the first floor) so try not to stay on the ground floor. Also seems like the ground floor is commonly used for those who want to spend a night with some one and have sex so if you plan to get a good rest Likely it won't be possible. the staff are very Kind and with in a block on metro direction you have many kind of restaurant ( not Western). also across from metro station there is huge shopping complex ( like Walmart). I forgot, if you are Non smoker , be ready to deal with the smoky small almost all over. it seems like there is no definition of Smoke = Bad health =Dead...

We stayed here after flying into Shanghai Hongqiao airport after midnight and had reserved a room to spend the night before catching a high speed train the next morning.||||Check in went ok. The room was very poor - it did not match the pictures that are here. You have to wonder if there are multiple standards for rooms in this hotel based on who the guest is.||||The bed a reasonably comfortable. The bathroom could have been cleaner (as could the remainder of the room).||||There was no bottled water in the room.
