Maixin'ge International Hotel — Hotel in Shanghai

Hi we are a family of 4 from Malaysia, the stay over at this hotel is very comfortable I like the bed and the pillow, They gave us 6 STAR warm welcome and service, the breakfast was delicious with western(bread/tart,simple salad)and mainly Chinese dishes, we love to stay in this hotel, free shuttle bus to Disneyland and return too at 920pm, we missed it at 740am, as my daughter oversleep🤣but the fare to Disneyland is not expensive this we just DIDI taxi there.We love the laundry service by an auntie I still remember her face, all clothes were cleaned and placed at the room door step in the noon if we ask for the laundry in the morning and it is FREE.The front desk staff are all helpful and always greet with big smile no matter how late we reached hotel, even trainees did the great job, we had 5days 4 nights stay over this hotel, at first my son blamed that it is far from centre , (40minutes ride to 外滩）after that he loved to stay as surrounded by shopping streets (night market, Wanda shopping mall,360 shopping mall ) which are well enough for us,because it is not crowded. We even played badminton in Shanghai near 360mall,the trip is free and easy and we found That hotel is the right choices, as it is not tourist oriented.Thus price is localised ,cheaper price and cheaper food.we been to 外滩，too crowded thus we are lucky to choose abit distance from city centre.Anyhow train stations are just 600 meters away from the hotel, convenience, just the ride to centre is 40minutes.We even ordered from Taobao and the front desk helped us kept the parcel, they are really helpful! Free flow of bottled water, warm welcome drink every night, fruit /snack in the afternoon.After 5 days 4 nights in Shanghai then we travel to Hangzhou, and we checked into hotel right in hangzhou city centre, to be honest, my kids told me: mum we better stay back to Maixinge hotel in Shanghai, such a good memory and compliment🤐 kids towards maixinge hotel到了杭州的酒店，体验两家酒店，没比较就没伤害，我的孩子还是喜欢maixinge 酒店!Hotel comes with breakfast and given my kids free breakfast, it comes with small.play ground,my girl and son play over the playground and it is clean.There is an army school.behind the hotel but we got a quiet room,you may request.We had given some comments to hotel.especially the toilet and shower room need 'privacy'....1 shower and if 1 needs to loo then have to wait as it is see through between the toilet and shower roomIt might be dangerous on some parts of sharp tiles that need a protection bar in case it will hurt kidsI believe they will improve.It would.be great.if family room.come with 2 units of 1.5meter bed.Tqvm and it is a wonderful stay...

The staff provides a very unique, impressive, and creative service, going above and beyond to make you feel as welcome as possible. At the hotel reception, we first enjoyed a free exotic glass of juice upon arrival and another cute, touching surprise I won't spoil upon departure (without being sure they systematically do it). During our stay, we benefited from a well-organised shuttle system (for instance, to go to Disneyland) and upon departure, the staff even drove us by car to wherever we needed, with our massive suitcases (again, not sure if they always do it, maybe they did after noticing it would be particularly helpful for our family).|The room was clean, nice, and the beds were the most comfortable we've ever had in our numerous travels. It's very easy to fall into sweet dreams and wake up 12 hours later, under the air conditioner. No noise, no problem. |On the negative side, the bathroom is separated from the rest of the room by a glass wall, but there is a curtain that diminishes the light efficiently if someone goes inside during the night. The toilets are very small, as made for children, but the overall bathroom space is great. In the local culture, you are encouraged to throw your toilet paper in the bin, instead of in the toilets: the paper, indeed, easily blocks the small system, so if you are not comfortable following the seemingly cultural habit, consider flushing one time without the paper, then one time with only it (and a few of it).|On a more glamorous side, the neighbourhood is filled with tons of restaurants and feels very safe. There is a big mall nearby that contains a whole floor of them. The mall is 5 to 10 minutes walking distance and is a paradise for young children in terms of fun, cheap activities, which are very numerous. The mall location is also where the closest metro station stands: "Zhoupu."|The hotel is far from downtown Shanghai, which justifies the low price, but it is easy to access by metro, and the area is very pleasant to live in: you will feel kindness everywhere!|Finally, the travel by taxi from the airport to the hotel cost us 128 RMB.|Have a nice trip to this...

The service was excellent . The attitude of the workers , from receptionists , drivers to the cleaning aunties were good, they were very helpful, polite, and was willing to go an extra mile to help to provide comfort and convenience to us and made our stay very pleasant.They provide free transport to the metro station nearby before 5pm. One of the morning ,the hotel driver who usually drive us to the station was out sending customers to the Disneyland, and my children were tired from walking so we were planning to take a taxi from the hotel to the metro station nearby, the reception workers were willing to call one of their workers to drive us to the nearby metro station. I really appreciate that. They really try their best to help.The room was cleaned and tidied up everyday . It was properly done. Toiletaries were also provided.There were complimentary mineral water , fruit and biscuits everyday. Plus warm soup dessert at night delivered to our rooms. They also gave my children small gifts when we check out from the hotel.They have a small children playing facility . Suitable for children probably below 8 to enjoy . There was no swimming pool nor sea view room, but we weren't expecting that anyway. The room were spacious and comfortable, with flat screen TV. The breakfast provided was a good varieties.Even though this was not a 5 star hotel, but the service was 5 star.And the price we paid was very much within our budget.They provide free transport to and from Disney land at set timings. So we did not need to worry about transport during our trip to Disneyland. They also arrange for tour guides and taxis if needed.Overall our stay in this hotel was very pleasant and enjoyable.The air conditional worked well and we were kept warm inside the compound despite the cold weather outside. There were many small Chinese restaurants within walking distance . So it was easy to find food nearby . There was a large shopping mall within...
