Northern Hotel Shanghai — Hotel in Shanghai

Great hotel with nice rooms. Not much views and is located a bit of a drive from the CBD but means it's a calm and chill hotel to stay at. The room we stayed in had duel sinks for working working couples.

The breakfast restaurant had a nice vibe and lovely selection of food options. Staff were friendly and overall very chill. Not all staff spoke English but you could just show a photo of what you need, and they'd quickly send it up to your room via a robot, high tech!

The room air con is limited due to government initiatives to reduce carbon footprint but there is a window that opens and during cooler months, it helps chill the room down a lot.

Next to the hotel is also a convenience store but...
