Radisson Blu Forest Manor Hotel, Shanghai Hongqiao — Hotel in Shanghai

The hotel is new and very clean. The staff at checkin was in a rush, and abrupt when asked questions. We went for lunch on the first day and found out we can’t charge anything to our room because we didn’t have a deposit which was never asked from us at checkin. Asked for a crib when I made the booking, asked again for a crib when I checked in, then had to call front desk later because we still didn’t have a crib for our baby. Balcony door in the room doesn’t open. We were put into a area around the bar for breakfast buffet, however the selection was limited compared to the main restaurant area which had more options. You also need to find a table yourself at breakfast and make sure someone stays at the table at all times otherwise it is taken by others. Overall nice hotel if you can’t leave and there...

This hotel is absolutely stunning both inside and outside. The architecture is like that of a palace, a place fit for royalty. The room size is big, bathroom comes with a shower area and a bath, the staff is super helpful and friendly and some of them can even speak English, the interior pool is so big and clean and there is a gym, a sauna, a steam room and a spa area. We saw the beautiful fireworks during the Chinese spring festival holiday. How beautiful it was. Wow this hotel I can safely recommend to all my friends. My babies loved it. Swimming and sand were perfect- indoor and outdoor pools were open. There was even a foam pool for the kids to jump in and get hosed down. I enjoyed the variety of pools especially for the littles ones. Three kiddy pools in all. The playroom was a bit weak- thank god it didn’t rain- that playroom would not have sufficed ( foam blocks, mini arcade games for money and extra price go kart cars).Food was not great.
