I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Boyue Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel's perfect location near Hongqiao Airport makes it incredibly convenient for travelers, especially for those with early flights or layovers. Additionally, the hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the Hongqiao Railway Station, which makes it an ideal choice for those traveling by train. This proximity to major transportation hubs offers a seamless transition for guests, eliminating the stress of long commutes and ensuring a smooth travel experience.Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and professional hotel staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. The reception area was immaculate, and the check-in process was swift and efficient, allowing me to quickly settle into my room and relax after a long journey.The room, although not very spacious, was beautifully designed and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The attention to detail in the room’s decor, cleanliness, and comfort was truly commendable. The compact nature of the room did not detract from the overall comfort and functionality, making it a cozy retreat after a day of travel.I would like to extend special thanks to three outstanding staff members who made my stay particularly delightful: Nora Li, Will Guo, and Star Zhu. Nora Li's warm and welcoming demeanor instantly made me feel at home. She was incredibly attentive to my needs and ensured that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Her dedication to providing excellent customer service did not go unnoticed.Will Guo demonstrated exceptional professionalism and efficiency. He was always available to assist with any queries or requests I had, and his knowledge of the hotel and local area was invaluable. Will's commitment to ensuring a pleasant stay for guests is truly commendable.Star Zhu also played a significant role in making my stay memorable. Her friendly and approachable nature, combined with her willingness to go the extra mile, made a lasting impression on me. Star's attention to detail and genuine care for the guests truly set her apart.The dining options at Boyue Hotel were also top-notch. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering to both Western and Asian tastes. The quality of the food and the impeccable service from the restaurant staff added to the overall positive experience.I am not certain if the hotel had a fitness center, but the overall amenities provided were more than satisfactory, and the convenience of the location made exploring the surrounding area quite easy.In summary, the Boyue Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao Airport exceeded all my expectations. Its prime location, excellent accommodations, and outstanding staff make it an ideal choice for travelers. This hotel is up there as one of the top 5 in the world for the aviation enthusiast. It is located above the terminal of the airport. For the best views you need to have an executive room to get the best views as the lower floors are obstructed by the terminal building (floors 10, 11 & 12)||This is the second time that I have stayed here.||So the Hotel. The reception area is large and quite impressive. Check in was quick and very good. Very friendly staff. I got a room on the 11th floor. The hotel can be accessed directly from the terminal and of course it does have a main entrance. The reception is on the 4th floor. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor. There is a bar which is adjacent to the reception.||So the room. As this is a high quality hotel the room does not disappoint. It is well appointed. A comfortable bed, easy chair, work table and chair, plenty of draw and wardrobe space. there is a mini bar and kettle plus a coffee maker. A good size TV. The bathroom is a good size with a bath tub and separate shower and wash basin. And of course the most important bit of furniture for the room - The toilet. Good quality toiletries are also provided. But the best thing is that when you open the curtains you are greeted with a grandstand view of the airport. Can't ask for better. The room was very clean. You also have use of the lounge which was good.||The staff here were all very friendly and as usual would I stay here again. Well...

Fascinating hotel for aeroplane enthusiasts, or indeed anyone, right inside the airport terminal! It was crazy to open your curtains in close proximity to parked planes and planes landing and taking off! And with great sound proofing in the room you wouldn’t even know!||Location is super, with not only airport but metro and trains on your doorstep! Perfect location for us as we arrived on the bullet train, checked in and left our luggage, then took the metro into Shanghai city centre to explore, and again used the metro the next day to return to Shanghai before owning back to collect luggage that night and board our flight 2 minutes walk from the hotel!||Check in was not good-we had 2 rooms booked, arrived after check in time yet none of our rooms were ready! There was no apology and we were not even offered complimentary coffee in the hotel coffee lounge while we waited! Instead we had to go to the airport Costa! When we returned an hour later, even then only one room was ready. We left all the luggage there and headed out to enjoy the city anyway.||We had a suite on floor 9 which was very nice. Spacious, comfortable, clean and with lovely bathrooms with all amenities you could want provided. Breakfast was also very good.||Very nice hotel, especially for an airport hotel, and rather unique in location inside an airport, but staff could perhaps benefit from more training in...
