Shanghai Ship Hotel — Hotel in Shanghai

We had a great experience staying at Ship hotel for a long weekend. The kids were so delighted with the boat and nautical theme of the hotel, a big playground, and a nice clean pool. The service was kind and thoughtful, decorating our room and giving us a cake for my daughter’s birthday and providing kids’ amenities. The staff are friendly. It’s a paradise for kids. The cost was not high, but our kids preferred this hotel to many others. The room is a little old but still in good condition and also has nice touches like a ships’ window, ocean shore carpet, and we had a very nice view. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and there was a pillow menu. Good water pressure in the bathroom and nice bathtub. The hotel is also next door to a ecological park which has boat rides, and about a 10 minute drive to paopao park which is a huge, beautiful recreational area with lakes, lots of grass for picnics, bike paths, gardens and a kids play area. Their attentiveness and friendliness made me feel welcome.Cleanliness was another strong point of this hotel; I didn't encounter any issues in this department. The rooms were tidy and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere for my stay.However, it's worth noting that the hotel's location is quite distant from most attractions in the city, which might not be ideal for travelers seeking a more central base. The staff is friendly and helpful. Few of the staff can speak good English which really helps a lot.

The rooms are quite nice and comfortable. The breakfast spread is good too. There is a nice mall named Powerlong Plaza nearby with a few good restaurants and a Metro station will soon be operational near the hotel.
