This hotel is renamed the Wassim Hotel (Shanghai Pudong Theme Park).||While it is decent it is tooooooooooooooo far from anything worthwhile to visit when in Shanghai. I think it is only really near Disneyland.||||I'd recommend staying somewhere closer to the Huang Pu River, near the Bund or anywhere else. It was too far from anything and when you are traveling with a family and they get tired and you want to do a short rest at the hotel...it is extremely difficult, expensive, and demoralizing to try to get to this hotel versus paying a little more (maybe) and staying where the action and fun is in proper Shanghai.||||I'm not cheap. I totally would have paid for a better hotel... this is the tour company INTERTRIPS fault for booking us so far away. I would totally not recommend that tour company again. They did us a disservice while traveling and visiting and touring in China. This hotel choice is one example.||||Do not stay here if you are a family with teenagers, looking to enjoy your day stress-free.||||Stay here is you want to be close to Disneyland.||||Also, their dinner buffet selection is not that great and didn't taste freshly made. What a GREAT experiences, FLAWLESS! If I would visit Shanghai Disney again, will definitely stay here. For business trip nearby, would also stay here. Hotel is CLEAN, food is really nice, all staff generally work happily with all hearts: from free shuttle driver Mr Chai picking up on Pudong airport to free shuttle service to and back from Shanghai Disney.Mr Jay Chen, the Hotel Manager, is SO SuPErB helping us out from before staying until we check out. I wonder how Mr Jay manage so many guests, you are such an asset for the company.I bought stuff from taobao, all delivered nicely to hotel receptions. Staff managing goods also work really well, I pick up my goods at nights,I forgot his name sorry. The only improvement if I may suggest:1) shuttle to nearby metro station (every hour, for example) might boost hotel visitors not only to Disney but also to Shanghai downtown (museum etc)2) gym should be 24 hours or 18 hours at least, no need staff just operational hour extended to 6am to 12pm, for example.3) receptions should have a line for guests queuing, as I found several quests somehow do not know how to queue.Many thanks Wassim, Mr Jay, all staffs during our 4 nights stay!
