深圳宝亨达国际大酒店 — Hotel in Shenzhen

Stayed here for 3 nights on a short vacation. Decided to stay here after comparing the prices of various hotels as this one charges much lower rates than those international brands yet it offers more facilities than the local hotels. Although not located in downtown, we found it easy to move around by cab and it took us only 20 mins drive to the downtown and 30 mins drive to the best beaches in the east side. It offers a resort surrounding with hill view and the tranquility you can't get in downtown. The huge outdoor swimming pool with a 4-storey high slide is superb for my boy. We enjoyed the pool very much and it was our daily hangout place during our stay. There is also an indoor swimming pool if you don't like the sun. We tried both the Chinese restaurant and cafe. The Chinese restaurant offers excellent Chiu Chow cuisine at a very reasonable price. The dinner buffet at the cafe offers asian and western food on par with an international 4-star hotel but you pay 30% less. We stayed at a suite of about 60sqm and it comes with a bedroom with a comfy king size bed and a good sized living room with a desktop computer. The room is nicely decorated with quality furnishings. One last thing worth to mention is that the hotel is next to its own brand jewelry showroom where my wife managed to purchase a few items for herself at a competitive price. We stayed at this hotel as it was close to the company we were visiting. It is close to the diamond area as well as an industrial area. It is about a 40 minute drive to the city center and about an hour drive away from sea-world.||The lobby is imposing and the rooms are a good size with a fair amount of luxury.||We arrived at night and unfortunately their is a building site close to the hotel and they worked through the night.||We complained in the morning about the noise and they immediately upgraded us and put us into a area away from the noise...well done.||The room we now got was enormous you could have a party with 50 people in it no problem.||We had breakfast and the only minus was that there was no yogurt. The room are good and breakfast is ample. This hotel is backed by a jewelry company so you can see Jade arts everywhere in the lobby. This hotel also has big meeting room which could accommodate 1,000 people on meeting. Quite impressive. The 1st floor buffet had variety of food but taste is okay (Not excellent but not bad.) The fitness center and pool run until 2200. The hotel is a bit off City center and has no access of subway. The only way to get around is by Taxi (or DiDi, Chinese version of Uber.)
