I recently stayed at this hotel on a typical business trip. The stay was booked by the factory I was visiting. I stayed two nights.||||The Chang Feng is located in the Baoan district and is primarily a business hotel with a mix of local professionals the most common patronage. ||||This area of the district is currently on the edge of development and I would say it has been trading about 2 years. Not a big hotel by Chinese standards but the rooms are very well equipped and comfortable. If you understand written Chinese it has in room PC’s that are internet linked and free. I just connected my laptop to the cable and it is all free.||I stayed in the superior executive room. ||This is not the sort of a hotel a tourist would look at staying in. Not located near any thing you would walk to at night to enjoy an evening. (but close to the 107 National hwy to Guangshan The stay is based on business and it does it well. Good food in the chinese restaurant supported by very good service. Upstairs is the karaoke (big facility very well done) and a bar called the “for you” bar, which has the “Japanese” karaoke; this bar is very small but fun.||||Security is the only thing that jumped at me in this stay; staff on each floor near the elevators after hours are a stand out, but not for that part of Shenzhen. ||||Have to say a good stay (for...

Read moreStayed here for 21 days by myself, in a single deluxe room on the 7th floor! First I checked out a superior room on a lower floor, but didn't like it at all. The deluxe rooms are nice, quite large, have a good bathroom, well kept and have a tub as well. You can open the windows on top as well. Service is very good and the coffee shop/restaurant serves a variety of food for all palettes. Staff is friendly, a lot of them even speak English. The manager of the hotel is particularly helpful and quite a cheery guy.||||This place is located the best part of Shajin (in Shenzhen) which is quite a new location compare to the main parts of Shajin where all the action is. The surrounding area is nice, clean and well contained. This area is not shady and safe for your wife and kid as well.||||The hotel has a Japanese Style Bar, which was OK, unless you went down there and made new friends for company. You won't find many foreign tourists around. And there are sports facilities nearby, like a number of swimming pools, basketball courts, a football field, tennis courts, parks, etc. places I enjoy spending my time at. There are good restaurants around, a wholesale market and a traditional square which is a worthwhile visit if you're...
