DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Shenzhen Longhua — Hotel in Shenzhen

I was quite disappointed with the service rendered by the hotel staff. I booked two rooms for my family to stay. When we arrived only one room was avail and the second we had to wait to be cleaned. We gave our number for the hotel staff to call us when the second room was ready. However, they never called so we had dinner and headed back to the hotel later in the evening. To our surprise the hotel staff said they tried to call but since we didn’t leave a local number they didn’t call after confirming with them before hand that it was ok to leave my Hk number. They separated us in another room rather than having us in two rooms together. Was quite disappointed when I booked a two rooms in advance as I had kids and the elderly travelling with me. This hotel is clearly managed by inexperienced hotel staff as the service was very average. Not the Hilton standard you would come to expect. Breakfast buffet is also not at a Hilton standard. Oily food that is left there for a long time can see restaurant staff lacked care and attention to detail. The hotel manager did come and apologise the next morning for the mishap and gave our kids some toys and biscuits which I thought was a nice touch and they did try with service recovery. If you wanted no frills Hilton quality I think you will be disappointed. You will probably get better service and cleanliness from their lower end sister hotel like Hampton Futian for example or even a Atour hotel. This is supposed to be one of the best hotels in Longhua district but you can definitely feel the substandard service the minute...

My husband and I were delighted to have stayed in Doubletree Hilton ShenZhen Longhua in our recent ShenZhen trip in September.

The hotel staff who were professional, friendly and helpful. They are always smiling and make us feel welcomed. The amenities in our room met my needs satisfactorily. The housekeeping staff, especially staff Arya and Lissa were hardworking and kept our room clean.

The executive lounge served a wide variety of good food, fruits and beverages. The lounge staff who had served us, especially Ruby, Yana, Susie and Bob were very friendly, helpful and hardworking. Yana was very initiative, and would always do beyond our requests. The most impressive was Bob, who was extremely professional, friendly, attentive, caring and helpful, making us feel at home at all times. He carried out his job passionately and always did his best to satisfy our needs. His impeccable service had made our stay in this hotel unforgettable and happy. He is a gem.

Location of hotel is fantastic. Just next to a shopping mall with plenty of retailers, supermarket, restaurants, cafe, pubs.

Belated review.Departing from Zhuhai, it took 2 and a half hours' drive to reach Shenzhen. We checked in at night and had a welcome snack (cookies). My daughter was very happy to have snacks when she was starving. The room is large, the bed is very comfortable, the view is beautiful, and the breakfast is not bad. The pretty girl at the front desk helped us delay check-out. After breakfast, we went back to the room to rest for a while before going out to play.After returning home, I realized that I had forgotten to bring the Bluetooth headset back, so I immediately called the hotel to check. I remember it was 12 o'clock in the evening and I was a little embarrassed, but because it was a gift from my husband a few days ago, I was very anxious.
