This hotel is properly the most beautiful in Shenzhen, at least until I get the chance to stay at St. Regis. The decoration is surprisingly exquisite, reminiscent of the Rosewood Hong Kong with its contemporary design.||I booked two rooms for a stay with friends, and I was delighted that the hotel arranged one suite and one deluxe twin room, both located in a corner with an outside connecting door. Although we were on the eighth floor, the soundproofing was excellent; we could hardly hear any traffic noise. While the hotel isn't very close to the metro, it’s not a big deal since taxis are quite convenient in Shenzhen.||The check-in process was smooth, and Mia at the Front Desk was very polite. However, I was disappointed that the executive lounge only offered evening cocktails and no breakfast or afternoon tea, which is a letdown compared to other Marriott hotels. Even as a high-tier member, breakfast was served in the restaurant on the sixth floor.||The lounge itself is beautiful with a nice view, and the Illy coffee provided was a pleasant touch, a great spot to relax with a cup. There was an issue in the lounge that I plan to email the hotel about, but overall, I was satisfied. The evening cocktail offerings included hot dishes and desserts, which were of standard quality.||The room amenities were adequate. It featured international power sockets by the bedside, and the bathtub was spacious and deep, with hot water and strong pressure making for a comfortable shower. Personally, I found the pillows a bit flat, but the foam pillow was quite comfortable.||I didn’t try breakfast myself, but my friends said there was a good variety and it was delicious.||Overall, my experience was excellent in terms of the hotel's hardware, but the service could use some improvement. I had difficulty finding the hotel's email address online before my stay, which was surprising. I had to call the Bonvoy hotline to obtain it, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the response from the guest service manager felt rather average and not very...

Read moreThe hotel is new and modern. However, the staff is terrible with poor attitude. This is the worst experience I ever had since I joined the Marriott member.||||I especially want to express my strong discontent with the concierge manager, Peter Lai(賴志強), who is the most unprofessional manager I have ever met. We arrived at the hotel at around 8 when no other customers were checking in. While we were checking in, his face was unamiable and not willing to introduce the facilities or any information about the hotel, even the check-out time. In the end, Peter just let his colleague print out the recipe and did not let us double-check the personal information and the membership number.||||After we backed on around 11 o’clock, we found that we couldn’t connect the wifi by using my surname.so I called the concierge for help. The most unexpected thing was, that Peter changed the customer information of the room only through room telephone. I was shocked and extremely angry. I asked Peter about the situation, then Peter showed a poor attitude, he said “This is the normal procedure of our hotel. If you have any questions or are discontented, I can help you to check out or you can call POLICE to process.”I could not believe my ears! I feel like I am a prisoner, but not a valued customer. I also can not believe, I can hear such rude words in Le Meridien, what is called luxury and a five-star hotel.||||After that, Peter sought the membership benefit department for help. The staff of the membership department, Miss Tsang already confirmed Peter made a misunderstanding. Finally, Peter disappeared and even didn’t give an apology to us. We only have a late checkout for compensation.||||All in all, the experience was a farce. I sacrificed my precious resting time for Peter’s fault. This experience ruined my whole journey. I am extremely disappointed with Peter for his unprofessional attitude. I will not recommend this hotel to all of you ||unless you want to be threatened by Peter.||||P.S. I have the recording of the above...
