Shenzhen Airport Hotel — Hotel in Shenzhen

Flight was cancelled at Shenzen airport and I was desperate to find a hotel. Unfortuantely, not many people at Shenzen Airport speak English nor do I speak Mandarin. Some I how I found a desk for an airport hotel and followed a group of people to a bus that took us to this hotel. Initially seemed OK. For sure geared towards locals. Cigarette in ashtray for non smoking room which I know is not unusual in China. Roomed seemed OK and wifi was available. Food was decent. Groups of Chinese dudes staying at hotel seemed a little intimidating?? Here's the kicker. Aroound 1:00 AM loud pounding on neigbors door and yelling. Initially thought it was some kind of argument and was quite unsettling. Informed front desk but they didn't understand English. Turned out that this was simply "night call" for lonely businessmen. I'll let you read between the lines what that means. For sure will not stay at this hotel if I'm in the same predicament. By now Hyatt House hotel should be open which is very close to airport. Maybe...

My flight arrived in the middle of the night, around  00.30. Hotel picked me up privately. Free of charge. Arrived hotel around 01.00, 3 front office staffs,  gave  very warm full of smiles faces. And when I enterd the room, WOW. Very spacious, newly renovated and clean. Honestly, when I booked the hotel, with this price, I had very low expectation. Breakfast included, although only simple meals, all fresh cooked and tasted good. I only booked for one night, but ended up stayed for a week there. And also went back there one day before my flight back home. If the location was not far from city centre I would stay there for my whole trip in Shenzhen. When you book hotels via online, usually everything looks nicer than the reality.  However, Shenzhen Airport Hotel gives you beyond expectation experience. I'm very satisfied with Shenzhen Airport Hotel. I think I will give 5 * ++ rating if possible. Definitely will come back...

This hotel is very good and free bus shuttle to and from the hotel from 400 to 2200. If you arrive late (after 2200hr) at shenzhen airport you are require make a call the hotel and they will arrange shuttle bus to fetch u. In the airport there are many public telephone where u can make free call 075527772888 to the hotel. ||As for the place for waiting free shuttle bus....after you exit from the airport custom...look for the nearest lift then go up to level 4. At level 4 there is only one exit way out of airport which in the centre and the gate no is 4. You need to walk to Gate no 3 and wait for bus.||||Room condition ok...some room currently under renovation. if u lucky u can get new renovated room. ||||Many food stall behind hotel....||||Breakfast is free and dont expect much...hot soya bean drink, only...
