Read moreHad a one-night stay for business in early 2019 at The Coli Hotel in Shenzhen. Check-in was smooth. Staff was polite and spoke good English. My room on 16/F was spacious, with a nice view of the 2011 Summer Universiade stadium. The bathroom was clean, with snow white fluffy towels (a huge plus!). The only issue was WiFi—access was through a passcode sent to your cell. Problem was, if I had activated roaming I probably wouldn’t need their WiFi. Anyhow, I returned to the lobby where one of the staffers gladly helped connect me. The WiFi was a bit slow but I was happy enough.
