Wealth Hotel — Hotel in Shenzhen

I've stayed here from 16th November 2013 till 21th November 2013. It was just like a horror movie. The first room, warm brown water after 15min for 5 minutes then cold again. The toilet was not flushing, some of the electric contacts were not working, the room was dirty on the ground, the safe was not working, the TV set has only Chinese channels etc. etc. and the breakfast was horrible. When my accompany has complained about all this we were, after two days, transferred into a suite for the same price. But it changed only a couple of things, the toilet was lose on the ground, it took 10 minutes before the water was hot and also the TV set was a mess, even worse than in the first room. because of the fact that I was invited by a friend, I stopped complaining. Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in June 2011 and while it offers a bed for the night with clean sheets, there isn't much else to say positively about it.||The carpets are old and worn, everything just rather dated - but as a location from a business perspective it is ideal - immediately adjacent to the Bao'an Airport and industrial areas. Next door is a KFC so something approaching western food is available there. The area has a few shops, a supermarket and a "department" store - quite lively with lots of people around in the evenings, but there's little else you can do anywhere close by.||Hotel cost is very reasonable - but the breakfast is all Chinese food which doesn't look too appealing to a Westerners eye's.||||There is not really much you can say about the hotel other than it provides a clean bed for the night at a reasonable cost - but you wouldn't want to have selected it as a...

It's a pretty run down hotel. If you can take the rustic, old and bearable cleanliness situation, then you could very well live with it. The rates are cheap, so it matches the "stayable" condition. ||||I didn't expect a lot, but due to the location as I am having a conference nearby, I somehow stay for a day. ||||The only cool thing I noticed is the Massage Chair in the room.
