I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The staff gave us a warm welcome and provided excellent service throughout our stay. As soon as I got off the car in front of the property, a staff member helped carry my luggage and escorted me to the accommodation. They thoroughly explained all the details about the property, which was very helpful. The staff spoke English fluently, so there’s no need to worry about communication, and they made every effort to understand our needs. I arrived in the afternoon, so I took some time to rest and recover from the travel fatigue. The room was clean and spacious. I chose a twin room, and the size was perfect for two people. The room was fully equipped with amenities such as drinking water, a hairdryer, and toiletries (the soap smelled amazing!). The bed was clean, soft, and very comfortable—it kept me warm and cozy even though it was around -4°C outside. The floor had a heater, and the staff made sure to explain everything clearly. There were extra blankets provided in the bedside cabinet and two types of indoor slippers available. The room also had a water heater, which worked perfectly. For meals, there’s a dining area downstairs. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. The hot tea was particularly delightful, and they also offered a variety of coffee and other drinks to choose from. I highly recommend trying the hotpot here—it was incredibly tasty! The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and paid great attention to detail. One of the staff members, who might also be the owner, kindly arranged a taxi for us to visit Shuangqiaogou. They also helped us book transportation back to Chengdu, with an additional service fee of 10 yuan per person. They were so thoughtful and accommodating! I was genuinely happy with my choice to stay here, and there was nothing disappointing about the experience. It was worth every penny and exceeded my expectations in every way. I even met many Thai travelers during my stay, so it was lively and far from lonely! If you’re unsure about staying here, I highly recommend this place—you won’t regret it. I truly hope to...

All the other reviews about this place does not lie! English speaking and will translate on an app if needed. Upon arrival the staff members quickly grabbed our luggage’s and got our passport ready for check in. Once I got the keycard and a little explanation of how everything works. The luggage’s were already delivered to the 3rd floor. The high altitude sickness definitely set in once I arrived. The staff will explain to you what to do and what not to do during your duration. Their first floor is a cafe/restaurant the food was not bad, tried out their yak meat hotpot and noodles. All staff members are very friendly and will smile. They also assisted in calling a taxi for us to go to shuangqiaogou. Didi did not work at all for any cabs in the vicinity. Nextdoor is a mini store that sells oxygen cans, I suggest you buy there as that was the only store within walking distance that I saw. Everywhere else around is either hotel and/or restaurants. Temperature drops rapidly in the area, definitely pack a light jacket or a heavy one depending on your preference. The floor heating works at 4:30pm and afterwards, you have to turn it on. The flooring gets warm really quick. Bathroom was great, it had a Dyson (with the cpi logo) hairdryer as well as a heating fan that works almost instantly. Slippers are provided and recommended inside because the wet floor tiles will get you if you become too overconfident.Everyday early morning the smell of cooked food rises up and it smelled great. Some may or may not like it. It’s not too strong of a smell in the room but in the hallway it is. One thing that was not mentioned and I found out the hard way as I got bored and wanted to head out at midnight to smoke. The main doors are locked from approximately 10:30pm to 7:00am. You cannot enter or leave unless prior arrangements were made (late arrivals or...

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a total of three days. The room was clean, well-maintained, and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, cheerful, and most importantly, able to communicate effectively in English, which made my stay all the more comfortable.Above all, I would like to share the most memorable part of my experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the staff went above and beyond to provide exceptional care and attention. Not only were they attentive to my needs, but they also remembered my daily activities and plans, always offering helpful advice and recommendations. What truly touched my heart was the kindness and support I received during a very difficult situation—when I lost my passport during my trip. Every single staff member was willing to assist in any way they could. In particular, Mr.Boss the hotel staff owner showed extraordinary dedication by coordinating with both the local police and national park authorities. He even personally drove me to file a police report, ensuring I felt safe and supported throughout the process. This experience left a lasting impression on me, and I am deeply grateful. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff are not only professional but genuinely caring, and they will certainly make your stay in Cheng du one of the most memorable parts of...

I had such a wonderful experience staying at Chang Ping Inn in Xiaojin. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and to my delight, they could speak English! They gave us clear explanations and even kindly advised us not to take a shower on our first night to help our bodies adjust to the altitude. We ended the evening with a cozy, delicious hot pot dinner at the hotel — it was the perfect way to warm up, fill our stomachs, and prepare for a good night's sleep. I slept soundly all night. The room was clean and charmingly decorated with mountain climbing-themed artwork. Both the staff and the owner were lovely, offering helpful advice and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. If you’re planning a trip to Xiguniangshan, I highly recommend staying here! The hotel is set right by a river and is within walking distance to the ticket station, where you can easily catch a shuttle bus to the scenic mountains.

The room was excellent—very clean and well-maintained. The female staff members spoke English well and provided clear explanations. The heated floors kept my feet warm and comfortable, making my stay even more enjoyable. Considering the price per night, I found it to be a great value. On the ground floor, there’s a restaurant serving delicious yak meat hotpot and pancakes. A friendly cat greets customers at the entrance, adding to the cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is very clean and always has customers coming in. In the evening, they light a fire pit, which provides great warmth against the cold weather outside. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located about 400 meters from the Changping Valley ticket office, making it easy to walk there. If you’re hesitant, I highly recommend staying here—you’ll have a wonderful experience!

I had dinner here, then returned for breakfast the next day. First of all, I would like to commend the staff for their good English skills. Even if you don't speak Chinese, they try their best to assist you using a translation device. The menu is available in both Chinese and English. For dinner, we had yak hot pot. The portion was very large and delicious. Meat is tender and no weird smell. The fried rice with mushrooms was incredibly tasty, and we ended the meal with yogurt ice cream, which I highly recommend. For breakfast, I had yogurt pancakes paired with yogurt ice cream - they complemented each other perfectly. The coffee was pricey with an average taste. Overall, if I visit this city again, I'll definitely come back to dine here.
