We really enjoyed our stay here. We have been in 4 different hotels this week and this is the cleanest. It’s a little older than some but doesn’t smell smoked in. The bed was comfortable and okay for a western visitor. Their English is limited but they anticipate your needs well and further English isn’t needed. |We were lucky enough to arrive when it was snowing for first time in ten years and the hotel was still very warm and comfortable. We had a room with a lounge and small balcony that overlooked the garden and lake. This is the best choice of room. Breakfast isn’t catered for westerners in a huge way but they cook fresh eggs on demand . Also try the Chinese noodle soup here. Read moreBooked two rooms on level 1. Found the rooms and bathrooms to be clean, with good amenity. Room decor is a bit dated and lights are a bit dark. Hotel reception staff were not the friendliest and only speak Chinese, but were responsive when we alerted them of other guests smoking in their rooms with their doors open.
