Fairmont Yangcheng Lake has always been one of our favourite getaways for staycations. The rooms are meticulously presented, a team of very friendly staff who are always eager help and will try their best accommodate any special request - a special mention: the Front Office Team and Yi Feng Court team.||||Dinner at Yi Feng Court met expectations as usual - Food was superb and staff was attentive. ||||We have previously stayed at the hotel on several occasions last year and have absolutely enjoyed our stays there with our dog. It was our preferred hotel as the hotel provides accommodation for pets in their Pet Hotel and the beautiful park nearby provides a great space for dogs. Subsequently, we could also bring our dog along at the outdoor terrace of the Essence Cafe. However, to my surprise, as I was seated for Breakfast during my recent visit, I was informed by the staff that I was not allowed to bring the dog even at the Outdoor Area of the Essence Cafe. It's understandable that pets are not allowed inside the hotel but not even in the Outdoor terrace, that I truly can't comprehend. ||||In line with Fairmont's Canine Ambassador program, the hotel too has a dog under it's care but unfortunately on this visit, I notice that the condition of the dog seems have deteriorated and pretty much neglected. Read moreWe spent Mid-Autumn Festival at the hotel. A lot of activities were organised these days as the light show, performances and hairy crab opening season. Besides we rented the bikes and walked In the neighbouring beautiful parks and organic farm. The hotel has very good facilities. The outside pool is rather big and clean, the fitness club is very well equipped. I also liked the Chinese restaurant where we ate hairy crabs. Restaurant employee helped us to cut the crab since we did not know how to do it. Especially I would like to mention the hotel staff, they were extremely friendly and helpful!
