Pullman Zhouzhuang — Hotel in Suzhou City

I booked a 1-night stay with breakfast at Pullman Zhouzhuang. I was served by their Asst Front Office Manager, Mr Peter Ma, who spoke perfect English. Upon my request, he agreed to a room upgrade since it was off-peak season and rooms were available. Checking in was quick and hassle-free. He offered to get a Porter to bring my luggage up to my room but I politely declined since I didn't have lots of luggages. Mr Ma advised me against driving to Zhouzhuang Watertown because it's cheaper paying for the taxi ride 2-way (about RMB20) than the parking charges (RMB10/hr) there, assuming I'd be spending more than 2 hours there. The room was big, clean and comfortable. There was a wide variety of western and Chinese dishes for the buffet breakfast. Besides Mr Ma, I would also like to compliment another front desk staff, David. David spoke English too and he was certainly very kind and helpful. I would definitely return to Pullman Zhouzhuang again and recommend it...

Not knowing what to expect, we were truly amazed with this Pullman Zhouzhuang hotel. From arrival to departure, all the staff and management we interacted with were genuinely friendly and made us feel warmly welcomed. The lunch in the Chinese restaurant was delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet has an extensive variety and Befo, the restaurant Manager, even remembered our preferences. Tom assisted us with our trip to the water village and offered to take us on the wetlands tour - amazing hospitality!! Highly recommended to anyone who needs a quality break...

This is the kind of hotel you see in movies. No joke. It’s f’ing beautiful. Peaceful, modern, quiet, picturesque. If you want an upscale hotel experience in the boonies like Zhouzhuang, this is your hotel. While I don’t think we’ll ever return to the water town (too touristy for our taste), we’ll forever remember this property.||Protip: Skip the breakfast.
